Ryan Ellis has played 2 WJHC and has 2 silver medals ... that must be a first

he's not related to Dan Ellis of the Lightning is he? when I saw the score tonight after switching away from the game when it was 3-0 end of the 2nd period AND the Canadian kids completely outplaying Russia, I couldn't BELIEVE it. was wondering IF they put Ellis's little brother in goal and HE got lit up TOO.

was at the game last night... just an amazing game... those russian kids were so excited... guys when the cup and don't look as excited as those kids... was nice to see the russians friends and family who where getting shit on all game have their moment at the end... one of the top 3 mos exciting sports events i have ever been too.

Ellis has played in 3 world juniors, not 2, and he won gold in 2009.  Schenn has played in 2 and won 2  silvers, although I would wager that he was not the first in history to do so.
