the goal by kelly featured a spear AND a high stick by Ryder which should have nullified the play
the best dive of the night was chara's when eller hit him, even edwards and brinkley called him out in a round about way..
anyways congrats wawa

Where he got speared in the throat? Right. ![]()
This is like Bruins fan claiming Halpern was faking his injury and he wasnt hurt. It was almost identical to what happened to Crosby, look how serious things are for him.
And on that Subban play. He's not trying to draw a penalty. What can he possibily get called against the Bruins player? He fell quite easily and flopped if you want for the sole purpose of taking that player out of the play. He even threw the guy's stick away. Subban deserved a penalty for sure. Not for diving, for holding the stick or maybe interference.

Not to go too off topic but speed is not the main factor in causing concussions.
Its identical to the Crosby hit because it was caused by angular acceleration (both got hit on the side of the head) and not linear acceleration like in the case of Pacioretty.
The Pacioretty incident was a much faster play yet even though he was out cold for a period of time his symptoms are not as bad as Crosby because the impact was felt straight on.
If you've ever gotten punched you know the difference between getting one on your forehead or right on the side.
I never claimed it deserved a penalty, I just found it funny some Boston fans think he was faking just because he came back to play. So did Crosby.

Clearly, you're a dick. You can't be gracious in victory OR defeat. The Habs played valiantly - even the B's players said as much. And for every time you can point to a Hab diving, I can point to a B either getting away with a penalty or doing the same. It happens. I respect the B's as a team, and MOST of their fans. People like you however, need not apply. You're no better than the Habs fans who whine about injuries and the like.

Not forgetting anything. Full marks to the Bruins for doing well without Savard. The B's have some pretty nice depth at forward - and some young guys such as Seguin who I would have liked to see play - I think he's going to be very good.
Montreal simply doesn't have the depth on D that the B's do up front. Losing Markov and Gorges - and having to rely on guys like Spacek and Wisniewski to log meaningful minutes, there's no way you're going to beat a team as deep and talented as the B's. Just no way. I mean, if Thomas hadn't been mediocre to brutal in the first two games, it wouldn't have even been a series...

Ya, I was concussed too and never realized it until a few years later. I was out for a split second maybe, got right back up and continued to play. Assessing concussions as a whole is just a very trick thing to do.
I have stated in many threads my main problem is when people have no interest in going for the puck. I know that kind of shit happens but I don't like it. I didn't expect a penalty because I know its never called.
I understand the theory that players need to protect themselves and I can agree with that on the Boychuk penalty when he hit Halpern because Halpern did have the puck. Halpern did kind of turn his back to the play.
If you ask me, I would penalize Ference 100 out of 100 times over that Boychuk hit. Simply because Boychuk made a true hockey hit when the opposition had the puck. Ference's subtle hit was for absolutely no reason. When the play is so far away I would never think about hitting someone like that. I've done my fair share of cheap and dirty shit but you know what is necessary and what is not.

If you want to cash in on round two, place your entire wad of money on Boston as they are an absolute L-O-C-K to beat the Flyers. Main reason is obviously goaltending and that will be the difference maker.
Easy Money on Boston for the series:
Guaranteed L-O-C-K!!!!!!!

Well that make sense..![]()
Perhaps I should just crap on them like everyone else to please you.
Why is it that people always compare Philly and Boston to being so smilar in style and toughness but yet it is only Boston that suffers and has to change their game plan against Montreal? Why is it always in series against Boston that we hear Bruins fans being so worried about Habs diving?
Last time I checked Philly has cruised past the Habs the last 2 playoff series and generally wins the h2h matchups in the regular season.
Why do I never hear Philly fans saying "we have to change our style of play because refs will obviously be against us vs Montreal"?
The majority of Boston fans have such an inferiority complex its hilarious.

Here is my quick and easy response:
1. Fuck you. ![]()
2. Refs also take goals away from Montreal. See game 6.
3. Refs also gave the Bruins the only PP in the 3 overtimes we had this series. Talk about pp chances at very opportune times. Not upset about that..wonder why?
See how easy it is for me to counter your arguments? Try again.
