Anyone in the NHL more overrated than Ryan Miller?

I still feel he is overrated. He is above average, he is not an elite NHL goaltender.

I love a good debate, and if you had a solid argument then maybe we could actual have a quality discussion that doesn't involve your vag getting upset when a Ranger fan disagrees with you.

I don't think the sabres where over-matched they where just playing on their toes and crashing the net harder! 

Miller is a fine goaltender, heaven forbid that the team in front of him actually pulls out a game for him.  Heaven knows he's pulled them out of the fire a great deal of times this year.

Okay he has 2 shutouts, but in the other games he has allowed 5,4,3 & 5 goals. That's holding his team in the series? Thats a lot of goals, in fact its one more than the Flyers trio of alleged scrubs have allowed in this series

flyers have been pressuring him this whole series.. he cant get a shutout every game..

Because you do this ALL THE TIME man. You lose a bet, get frustrated over it, and start a thread blaming someone for the loss that doesn't deserve the blame.

The fact is, if you actually WATCHED the game, you would know how ridiculous your original statement is. And if you really did watch this game, and the other games in this series, and STILL think the way you do, then its even worse.

I watched the entire game. Miller was good in the 1st period
 I watched 21 hours of hockey this weekend...my favorite 3 hours was the ones between noon and 3pm yesterday pacific time. I have watched the playoffs from puck drop to the end of the last game every night.

I think he is overrated. the fact that other people do not adds to my point. If everyone thought he sucked then he wouldnt be overrated would he?

Moving on to an actual discussion, the Flyers have outplayed the Sabres pretty much the entire series. The amount of scoring chances the Flyers have had on Miller all series is insane. The defense in front of him has been nothing short of awful and all you can as him to do is work with what he has. Put 80% of the goalies in this league behind the Sabres defense in this series, and they would have given up far more goals than Miller has in the series.

Sorry he hasn't spent his entire career behind a stellar defense that makes him look better than he truly is like someone you should know...(KIDDING, calm the fuck down.)

Comparing a thread on Miller being over-rated to one on Luongo having no guts.

The mere fact is, you don't even understand the point I was trying to make. No he isn't going to hold a gun to his head and force his hand. BUT at the same time, all the Nucks are looking for out of the guy is a SHRED of confidence that he can get the job done in a big spot. Had he displayed that confidence with his back against the wall (something he has never done) then he would have started this game.

The fact is, the Flyers had 50 shots (that's right, five, zero) and bomboarded Miller with chances ALL GAME LONG. You claim you watch the games, but you are exactly like a guy who looks blindly looks at a scoreboard and makes completely wrong assumptions off of it.

I agree with this.

Miller's problem is consistency.  He is great for a game than average for two games.  That does not get it done. 

the Sabres D is horrible .... it's either blocked shots or laying on the Ice...

on a side Note Miller is gtetting Married.... Maybe his Mind is on the China Patterns
