Thanks for the offer Lipps . My local will take the regulation, but I have to show the line online somewhere, he won't do the math. Regulation is -.05, correct? I found sportsinteraction. Shows Montreal at -149 and Pit at -159. Does that seem right? Thanks
Seems like a great angle
What is Culls17 referring to a tie? Is the reg line -.05 and -1 something else? Where do you find the -1? Thanks
I've been at it for 20 years, Sorry for all the dumb questions, just never did this -.05 and -1 before.
OK, a few things here.........
1st.....You are correct, regulation is the -.5 line
2nd.....Those are horrible regulation lines. If you can show him a site, then go to Pinnaclesports.com and show him those odds. they are the best out there.
3rd.....Culls is taking about a -1 line that includes OT and a SO. You get a better payback and you are saved if your team wins in OT or a SO. You would get a push, rather than lose your regulation wager that ends in a tie and you are laying the -.5 goal. The drawback is you will see some ties when your team wins in regulation by a goal.
4th..... 5dimes offers a -1 line or as I said before I can give you a formula or even e-mail you a spreadsheet where you can calculate your own -1 lines by doing a combination of a PL wager and ML wager.

ACG is correct. If you look at the upper left at the very top of the website you can change the format of the odds. Just pick N. American and American odds.
