I see two games I think have good shots to go over their totals today.
1) CBJ/ANA O5.5 -230 The line on this is stupid right now...even the O6.5 is too much for me at -130... But I do expect this to be a high scoring game so I might would take a stab at O6.5 with even or better odds.
2) PIT/MON O5.5 -175 Again, the line is a little high for me so I will try to catch this one live if possible. The O6.5 line -105 on BET365 isn't terrible
I strongly dislike the O6.5 plays as I feel like they are a trap unless the game hits 3-3. While they do happen, there is not very many 5-2 or 6-1 games. Even fewer games are 7-0 so I always try to steer clear of the 6.5 when possible and both of the data trackers I use for game totals are centered around the O5.5 total. The new tracker can be adjusted to run scenarios at 6 and 6.5 totals. 6.5 normally shows the BestSide as an Under. In both of these games mentioned tonight, the tracker shows the BestSide as O6.5 at -105 or better odds. With all that said I will likely take a chance on the O6.5 on both of these games and then live play the O5.5 if I see the opportunity arise early in the game. Happy weekend. Let's go goals.
