It's double revenge for Calgary, which has lost the first two meetings this season. The Flames come off a 5-3 loss to Columbus on Tuesday, but they are 6-1 in their past seven games after allowing at least five goals in their previous game. Calgary was victimized by the Blue Jackets, who, as often happens in the NHL, came out energetic and focused in the first game with a new coach. The Flames are 10-2 in their past 12 against teams that scored two or fewer goals in their previous game, and Chicago lost 4-1 to Edmonton on Monday. The Blackhawks have lost 10 of 15 home games, and they are 21-65 in their past 86 games following a loss by at least three goals.
That is some of the overall sentiment without going in too deep with stats.
