Happy weekend everyone. All three games O5.5 yesterday but none O6. The 5.5 number is indeed the magic number for a reason. 

Today I have a number of games to look at. 

DAL/SJS O5.5/O6.5. 3 of L5 1P O1.5. Currently O6.5 -115 is the line and we may not get a shot at O5.5 on this one with a decent line. I'll take the O6.5 and if I get a shot at the O5.5 live, I'll take that too. 3 of L5 meetings have gone O5.5. 8 of L10 DAL games O5.5 and 10 of L10 SJS games O5.5. Both teams can score and likely will be scoring tonight. 

DET/MON O5.5 Currently the O6.0 is -120. I think a 3-3 tie here is feasible making the O6 playable. Both teams have laid a low scoring game in the last week but are also both 3 of L5 O5.5. 4 of L5 meetings are O5.5 and 4 of the L5 1P O1.5 have hit so the scoring historically starts quick between these original 6 teams. I'll take the O5.5 live play if I get the chance, but I don't want to play from behind either and be forced into the O6.5 or 7.5 depending on how quick the scoring starts. Anything in the net within the first minute pushes this to O7.5 live and out of my comfort zone. 

ANA/BUF O5.5 Currently available at O6.5 -125...Which is likely to cover. 3 of L5 meetings O5.5. ANA 5 of L5 O5.5 and BUF 4 of L5 O5.5. The one bright spot in this one is only 2 of L5 1P O1.5...meaning we might maybe possibly get a chance at the O5.5 as a live play with decent odds. I'll take anything -125 or better for O5.5 in this game but will probably double up and play the O6.5 as well. Both teams are high ranking in games going O5.5 and 6.5 this year. ANA has seen 65% of their games OTR and @H go O5.5 and O6.5. BUF 60% of their games at home go O5.5 and 40% of them go O6.5. ANA lets a ton of goals in OTR and has been on a VERY long east coast road trip. 5-2 BUF is likely in this one. 

CBJ/COL Not much need to say anything about this one. Both teams can score. COL can score quickly and in bunches. It's at O6.5 right now so this would be another double up game for me playing the 6.5 to start and not get locked out but also playing the 5.5 live given the chance. Historical data for the match is good. COL has seen 60% of their home games go O5.5 and 50% go O6.5. CBJ has played in O5.5 games 65% OTR and O6.5 47.83%. CBJ might not be able to get us there alone but COL scores plenty at home. 

STL/VGK O5.5. Currently at O5.5 -125 This seems too good to be true, so good in fact that I bet this game last night expecting the line to rise. STL on the B2B. Just went O5.5 last night with Hofer allowing 4 goals on mid 20 shot total from UTM. Benny possibly back in tonight after allowing 7 to CHI the other night. VGK 4 of L5 O5.5. STL 4 of L5 O5.5. 4 of L5 meetings O5.5. 5 of L5 1P O1.5. Take the O5.5 -125. Scoring starts in the first period of these games. 

LAK/EDM O5.5 Currently at O6 -115. 1P O1.5 2 of L5. 4 of L5 meetings O5.5 LAK 5 of L5 games O5.5. EDM 4 of L5 games O5.5. LAK also on a B2B spanked by WIN last night. Team wakes up against poor netminding tonight and EDM has to keep up. I'll play the O6.0 and the O5.5 if I get the chance to. 

6 out of 14 games looking solid for today. Saturdays can be weird with afternoon and matinée games. But ill take my shots on these. 

Honorable mentions would be 

FLA/OTT - like the FLA ML here as well -105 OTR to a team falling apart behind closed doors is good value

SEA/CAR - both teams can score but not a good history of consistently clearing O5.5. 

TBL/PHI - same scenario as SEA/CAR, both teams can definitely score, and this game does likely clear 5.5 but historically they games are O5.5 2 of L5 and 5 of L10.

Already seeing small line movement on STL/VGK from -125 to -130. Would not be surprised to see this game at O6 -110 or -115 before game time tonight.

 I jumped on Blues/Knights OVER 5.5, -120 at about 5 am this morning, now it is 5.5, -130, and my other site has 6, -115.  5.5 is indeed a KEY number!

 Rags game was listed as a recommended PASS play due to early afternoon game and scoring issues for both teams. I hate I didn't see this comment prior to the game because I have data on all of them. I try to use the data to get the most likely games for O5.5.

 any other games you see today that I didn't mention earlier? my system isn't perfect (missed the shit out of the NYR/BOS game LOL) so I do miss angles which is one thing I have always appreciated about Covers and sharing information with other likeminded bettors. 

CAL/PIT is one I look at and I expect it could go O5.5. CAL OTR goes O5.5 68% of the time. PIT @H is O5.5 a massive 76% of their home games! However, the CAL/PITalso a recommended PASS game ranked 13/14 (NYR/BOS was ranked 12/14) as I type this, I just saw CAL scored 1 already and the game is live at O6.5 -150. No value there unfortunately. Live play on the O5.5 in that game is DEF worth a look based on O5.5 consistency of CAL OTR And PIT @H.

 OK for the 7 o’clock games I jumped on the Detroit over, I like what you said about it and shows a little bit of value play on the over six, 6 1/2 but who knows probably be one of nothing lol good luck
