Anaheim at San Jose (-140, 5)
San Jose had another disappointing playoff exit last year. It cost coach Ron Wilson his job, who was at the helm for almost 5 seasons. The Ducks had a first round exit also, with the Stars sending them packing. Both teams have a great deal to prove this year having the firepower to bring a cup home.
These teams are under machines when they match up. Out of the last 10 matchups only two games have went over. Look for opening night caution as these teams play a defensive style not wanting to make the first mistake. It’s a low number but it’s not low enough, if the bookmakers could put 4.5 here they would, but that would get too much one sided action.
