San Fran has faced 5 teams this season who rank in the top 10 in total offense....ALL FIVE of them gained over 400 yds...3 of them gained over 500 yards...
They will face one in both games they play in the playoffs...
Like I said already, 4-1 against those aforementioned teams, with the one loss coming in overtime. No response to that?

you mean the unstoppable packers who scored a whopping 14 points and lost to the chiefs? And the saints who lost to 4-11 bucs and the 2-13 rams.
you can say what you want, but the niners have the better defense and we all know how the saints struggle on the road. Last season the saints got smashed by the seahawks and imo the 49ers are a more disciplined and sound football team.
Laugh at Alex Smith, but the way McCown moved the ball especially on that 95 yard drive, that would not sit well with me in a close playoff game.
I am not claiming SF to win it all, but the Saints/Packers won't be blowing them out like every blind homer here thinks.
Oh and the niners lead the league in turnover margin, but I'm sure you already knew that.
Wait, GB should be worried about letting a team drive 95 yards in the 4th qtr up 17????
Yeah, you are right. I mean what teams dont let teams march down the field to end the game in prevent.
But, you are right. I mean in some bum named Skelton can lead a victory over SF with a WHOOPING 21 points, Im sure Rodgers at home cant do it
SF scored 20+ on the road TWICE all year
GB scores under 35 ONE TIME all season at home. That was against the Rams when they had 24 at half with 60 mph winds and wanted to get away.

-One was by 10 pts on 3 days rest travelling across country.
People that that think this team is going to get blown out by anyone in the playoffs doesn't know shit about football.
Don't think they'll get blown out but trading field goals for TDs is not going to win games...not sold on the 49ers but think their defence could be a difference. Home field would be key if they had to play NO.

The AMAZING stops teams when they need to, save for one busted coverage, they'd be 5-0 against those teams.
If you know this already, you are not supporting your case, you are actually highlighting another reason the Niners can win.
"The AMAZING stops teams when they need to"
I am a Packers fan. I know what that statement means
They give up 1000's of yards, but make teams kick field goals. GB needs 4 stops a game to win.
I do disagree, however, with your 5-0 statement. If you want to look at it like that, you could easily say they could be 2-3, seeing they had a 2nd half collapse from Philly down 17 at half, collapse from the Lions, and comeback from Giants in the 4th.
Either way, my only point of joining this thread is to say the stats are VERY misleading with SF defense.
Every good team they have played moved the ball on them with ease.
The two offenses they will most likely face, NO and GB will have more fire-power than they can keep up with. In my opinion

If you've ever done research, you know that stats can be manipulated in any regard to make them say what you want them to say. I could question your stats as well, so there is no part in debating that aspect.
The bottom line is, it is not a coincidence that SF consistently wins those games and has not gotten blown out. Not sure why people expect this to change. Every win SF has is always because of some flaw the other team had. I think Harbaugh is secretly happy about this to keep his team motivated. I am very confident New Orleans won't be coming out of SF with a victory. I do think GB is a better team than SF, but I also think SF has a good chance to beat them. I hope we get to see that matchup.

Fucking Tools.. Here's a fact for you toolbags out there, the Saints have never NEVER not once, won a road playoff game.. That dome is like a maxi pad to a period for the Saints. They can't win any where else.. Niners will kick their fucking teeth inside their mouths.

Saints are 9th in the league in rushing at 126.6 yards per game. Have 4 players on the roster with 400+ yards rushing each.
Just had 164 yards rushing against a top 5 rush D in the league.
Who really watches the games and not ESPN here? Dumbass.
you should read what my comment was addressed to. Nothing above of what you said means they have a PHYSICAL RUN GAME, which is what my statement was addressed to.
Oh and by the way guys, you can bash me or anyone else all you want for whatever reason because you don't see eye to eye.
You can call me an assclown, moron, idiot, whatever...
but this is a gambling site and what are we here to do , well I know for myself I am here to beat the book. So it doesn't matter what you think of my reasoning. I could type up 10 paragraphs of biased journalism just to state my case and it could be very persuasive or it could be me just blowing smoke up someone's ass. And my point of that is simply this...it doesn't matter what I think will or will not happen, what matter, is who covers on Sunday.
The End.

Have any of you ever bothered to look at the opposing teams injury report after playing the 49ers? They just continue to punish teams physically.
Sproles is great, but his 5'6 frame is going to be hobbled from the hits he takes. The Saints might have the stats on paper, but they are not going to be able to run in between the tackles against San Francisco should they play. Its been pointed out numerous times in this thread, but the Saints are mere mortals outside of their home dome. They will not be coming out of SF with a win.

Don't bet a whole lot of money on that.

SF reminds me of Balt w/Dilfer. N.O.on road not as good & look what KC did to GB. Any given week but I really like N.O. to win it all. Funny how weather not a factor as of yet, has snowed 1x here. All teams have flaws, but if you took GB out of mix in NFC, who you got representing?
AFC: PITT long as Benny healthy

Interesting stat since 2002 the teams with the best home records in the NFC are: GB 54-25, SEA 51-28, CHI 49-30 ( that'll change if Haine or McCown continue to QB next year )

They also NEVER won a super bowl until 2 years ago. So what's your fucking point? Hell you are basically going off of last years sole loss to the seahawks since the saints haven't really frequented the playoffs much since their existence. I guess you can include the 2005 loss to the bears, but I'm not sure what it has to do with this team. Here's another trend that will blow your mind. The 49ers have NEVER won a home playoff game in 2012 with a black president.
I don't for a second believe that the niners will be blown out, but also don't believe for a second they will be in the super bowl either, but regardless for the love of god shut up and let niners and bigniner back up your cause, because your logic is just non-fucking-existent.
I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the matchup and hopefully another chance at GB after the saints fucked it up at the goaline in week 1.

Niners D-line will make serious Noise in the playoffs. Just wait and see. Rookie Alson Smith is an absolute Beast and has drawn Charles Haley comparison. Smith has been a terror as well. With Willis back in the fold this unit will keep SF in every game.. Niners special teams is one of the best at pinning teams way back and Akers is clutch. This team is built for the playoffs.
