GL  I pounded Philly+4 and Bengals-2.5 this morning.

Zona probably will win by more.  Not sure about Philly winning- got beat twice by Dallas this season and don't think those games were flukes either.  Some teams just match up well with others. 

Cinci -2.5 Revenge, rookie NYJ QB, homefiled and very under-rated Cinci Defense that will be able to hold a small lead (hopefully a large lead)

Dall -4 control both lines and Romo versus McNabb

No pick on NE vs Balt,,,hard to go against Brady playing a poor Raven secondary, but I find no value with Ravens Offense...so no play.

Arz -2.5 Athletes and veterans at home.

agree on 2 and other way on Dall.

Weather definately favors the Jets, here is why...........Jets have the best defense in the league.  Weather would make Cinci one dimensional on offense, this would play right into the Jets hands/strengths.  Cinci has a great quarterback and 2 great receivers, taking this away from them would destroy them because they will need the pass to open up the run.......Weather wouldn't change the Jets gameplan at all, they run run run anyway, even in good conditions...........

Love all the discussion in here this week fellas.  Will get around to answering and responding to some of the action going on in here.  Like the way the week has started.  Get some fire going for the rest of the week. 

Agree on all, but I think that Baltimore might pull the upset SU!

I think with losing Welker definitely makes it a distinct possibility.

I'd like to see Baltimore win and the Bengals win.  I'd love to go back out to San Diego in round 2.  I think the Bengals can beat San Diego.  They could have beaten them last outing.  If it weren't for the Caldwell fumble for -20 yards I think they could have.

Cinci has 1 good receiver and 2 average receivers.  Coles is good if used right, which he has not been until recently.  Caldwell is emerging, he still in my opinion needs to throw on 15 pounds or so.  I think he doesn't have the speed to be a straight deep threat so he needs to develop into an underneath guy.  Ocho has definitely moved down a couple pegs, although he was shutout in the game Sunday.  I still think he got some good separation from Revis in that game.  Think it will be good going forward.  Mark my words, Ocho will get the better of him this Saturday.  Weather does favor the Jets, again I don't think the run run run is going to work this Saturday for the Jets either.  I think Sanchez is going to have to beat us.  Thats just the way it is.  A fresh healthy Peko and Geathers are going to be huge differences, that being said losing Pat Sims for the rest of the year is going to be a tough loss.  I think we still have enough depth upfront to play with.  We did resign Keiwan Ratliff which tells me the Bengals are going to need help in the secondary for the playoffs.  The potential round to the Super Bowl for the Bengals are more pass oriented teams.  I really think the Bengals handle their business Saturday.  The Jets are a good football team, but I believe the pressure for Sanchez is going to be a little too much for him to overcome.  Look for him to make a few mistakes Saturday.  Joseph and Hall will be all over the ball, with more help since Crocker will be back this Saturday as well.  Tom Nelson has tremendous upside but at this point is not a starting safety in the NFL, he can barely tackle these much more physical receivers let alone a big tight end.  I think what your going to see from the Bengals more and more in the playoffs is...

1. Andre Smith's playing time, because in the short amount of time he's played hes proven to be a pretty good pass blocker.
2. Carson Palmer is going to take over at least one game.  He's got one huge game and several good ones left in him.  The guy has all the tools the offensive line needs to provide some better protection Saturday.  I think we will be able to throw this weekend, Jets pass rush isn't very good, in my opinion.  Now they are good in obvious pass situations, which means we need to dominate in the trenches.  I think the one of the biggest keys to the game is honestly us stopping Braylon or him stopping himself.  He was open a few times made a few drops, guy has a knack for making easy drops.  We need to keep him under control.

Haven't made my wagers yet, but getting close to making one.

Just some thoughts...not a write up.  If I wanted to have a writeup it would state write up.

Did ware play on Sunday, I just didn't remember him being mentioned.

He played believe he only had 1 tackle.

Scary to think the Dallas D pitched a shutout and got absolutely nothing from Ware and Ratliff, easily their two best defensive players.

I know the game Sunday night meant more to the Jets, but the way the Jets dominated the line of scrimmage is hard for me to ignore and this was from the opening kickoff.  I know Rey being out has a lot to do with this and of course the Jets O-line who have lead the #1 rushing attack all season, so it's hard for me to believe why this won't happen again.  For this reason I'm likely going to pound the Jets as well.  What are your thoughts?  What do you think Cincy will do to overcome the domination up front?

Philly and Arizona are gonna lose again.   Dallas and Green Bay are too hot, but they won't underestimate their opponents.  The games might be closer, but the Boys and the Packers should cover.  Cincy is the team that has a good chance of bouncing back with a win.  The Patriots/Ravens game is the hardest to pick.

I'm not Whodey but in regards to your last question the only word that comes to mind is resiliency. Despite looking like crap the other night and not showing any of it, this team has major heart.

No worries, that's the only thing holding me back from playing the Jets.  After an embarrassing performance like that, it's hard to believe that Cin. will not be extra motivated to come out and prove that they truly are as good as their top 10 rushing defensive rank.  Also, I don't think there is much value in +2.5....if that game was competitive, imo the line would be at least 4 pts.

Not having Domata and Geathers up front to stop the run really hurt us as well.  From watching the game I just didn't see us doing anything creative at all.  I mean literally not much as far as the running or passing game on offense and I think not having those two up front, and not having Crocker at the 2nd level really hurt us in the running game.  Tom Nelson can't handle the bigger backs when they hit the second and third levels, Crocker can.  Not having Rey which we won't for the rest of the season kills us a bit.  Jeanty was a proven starter though for a couple of years and I think the combo of him and Brandon Johnson will do just fine.  Keith Rivers needs to step his game up just a bit though.  He hasn't played well in the past couple of games, they need to put him on better run blitz packages which I'm sure they will change this coming Saturday.  I'm not taking anything away from the Jets, they are fantastic up front and the defense is stout.  I just don't think they will be able to be one dimensional and beat us.  Also I don't know if you watched but did you see the run plays and wildcat plays they were running.  They didn't hold anything back, I'm sure we will be better prepared.  Honestly thought the defense let up as soon as the Jets gotta a lead.  Which our team has proven they can come back from deficits all season long, which makes me think once again that we prepared for this game like the 4th preseason game of the year.  Playbook will be wide open.  Both sides.  I'm not really too worried about the game.  I think we make it so Sanchez has to beat us.  If we get them in 3rd and long situations, look for fresh legs like Michael Johnson in there pass rushing.  He is starting to emerge, plus with him just being used on special teams and passing downs you know he is healthy.  He might not be able to power rush but he can beat any offensive lineman off the ball at any time.  Super human skills.  Needs 20 more pounds and he will dominate in this league.  As a hand down pass rushing defensive end.  We stop the run we win easily.  

Absolutely.  One idiot Jets fan said the Bengals won't have any motivation for Saturday.  You have to be kidding me.  It is scary to think without Ware and Ratliff showing up that they still pitched a shutout.  But from what I heard about the game a lot of redzone woes for the Eagles.  Hopefully they fix it.  I feel that I might be on the wrong side of that game, but honestly everytime I think the Cowboys are going to cover as a favorite which I sort of do this week they let me down.  I like playing them as a dog which I did big in the New Orleans game, but as a favorite they have yet to be good to me.  I'll be playing that game small, but I still have to go with my first instinct on that one.

I think if the Bengals showed any kind of fight in the first half the line would be 4-5 points your probably right.
