Why was that a 4 yard offside penalty?

I needed bears to get first down there.  I’m confused why it was 4 yards

Had to look it up on ESPN.  3rd & 5 at PHI 31.  4-yard encroachment penalty so no automatic first down, making it 3rd & 1, and they didn't get the first down and took the FG.

Made it go Over 2H.

I had CHI and Under 2H.

That's weird as fuck.
