How are the Vikings a "bruiser" type football team?  They are mediocr in rushing and have a 54/46 pass/run ratio.  If anything, you say the Saints are the "bruiser" team since they are 6th in rushing and top 5 in allowing sacks. 

Case in point, Saints ran for 171 yards on the Cards, while Minnesota only ran for 62 on that same team.  Minnesota's "bruiser" d-line didn't do much on the Saints when they played last year either.  Same line as the present one.

Vikings played the Cardinals in week 13 and got beat down.  Saints played the Cowboys in week 14 and lost by 7.  Saints and Vikings just played the opposite teams last week.

By your silly account.  The Vikings beating the Cowboys by 31 (including a senseless last TD) meant everything, but the Saints 31 point victory of the Cardinals means less? 

Minnesota rushed for a combined 171 (85.5 avg) yards against these common playoff opponents while the Saints rushed for 236 (118 avg.), yet its the Vikings that are the "bruisers"?

How many Saints starters were out against Dallas.

you will see today. Bruiser, where I come from means a smashmouth type physical team and has nothing to do with stats..  I can't wait to see Mr. All Day knock the Saints defenders on their ass.
