No they didn't, they gave up Randy Moss for a third round draft pick.  Now if they get him back, yes ....it is free.

Interesting article, but the only thing I'd argue is that its old Man Farve throwing the ball behind late..we've all seen the end of that movie......Pats pick 6 to seal the win.  Besides, Jackson came in and look okay in relief of Farve.

What's really funny is dummies thinking Moss caused Favre's injury. Moss didn't miss the assignment and blow the block that allowed a player to have free run at Favre.

Why don't you blame the volcano and tsunami on Moss too then?

Adam Schefter on ESPN just went into some detail about this... Said about 10 teams are believed to have interest... Miami might even put in a claim simply to block the Jets and Pats from getting him.

To the Jets doesn't make sense, Sanchez can't throw the ball 40 yards down field.  I think it's most likely he goes back to the NE.  Then they have Branch, Welker, Moss. With "Law Firm and the great white Woodhead picking up the run game.  With some good defensive coordinating the Patriots are getting set to make another Super Bowl run...
