Week Three-Read Before Posting

Definitely better but still a few not following. So read the below. Starting this week, if you fail to follow the instructions this week, you will be eliminated. $500 prize to the winner. 

If you add plays in more than one thread, you are eliminated. The only exception would be if you realize right after you post that you forgot to add numbers correctly, and post immediately after. 

If you go to zero, you are eliminated. 

You must post your bankroll. I will be checking periodocally. If you are incorrect in your total and it impacts placings, you will forfeit any prizes. This is not complicated. If you have trouble with math, use a calculator. 

All lines are -110 except for moneylines which are the actual lines. 

You can play any amount and any amount of games. The lines are from oddshark, recently acquired by Covers. If you look at our website, you will see an odds section. The lines we use are KALSHI.

IT HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION THAT SOME PEOPLE DON'T SEE ACTUAL LINES. THE LINES ARE FROM THE ODDS SECTION IN THE FORUM. IF YOU ARE NOT SEEING ANY LINES FROM THE LINK, LET ME KNOW. IF YOU DO NOT SEE THEM, USE DRAFT KINGS LINES AND STATE YOU ARE DOING SO. 

1) All of your plays must be made at the same time and you must state the line. Any side, moneyline, or total from oddshark. First half lines are allowed. Obviously, because of this rule, no second half or in game bets. There are no parlays. All plays, except money lines, are -110.

2) Once you post your plays, there are no changes. No exceptions. Just like when making a play online, you need to make sure your play and the amounts are accurate before posting. 

3) You may not exceed your bankroll (obviously).

4) When you post your plays, you must also post the line. This is to ensure the line is accurate based on when you posted your play. So, use the below example.

*Since djbrow indicated we’re using Kalshi lines in the odds section of the forum (week 3, post #1), I tried to find these again as I haven’t found them the last 2 weeks and have been using DraftKings (as stated).

Clicking on the Odds link at the top of the Forum section, then selecting the NFL from the dropdown menu, I can then see posted lines from a handful of sportsbooks, including DraftKings, however I’m unable to see any lines specifically from Kalshi in these columns or on the Odds page.

However, there is a Kalshi ad “banner” at the top of the page (after selecting the Odds link at the top of the Forum section) that highlights 1 specific NFL game.  I clicked on the Kalshi banner at the top of the Odds page, which then brings me to Kalshi’s website (I was no longer on Covers webpage) where I  then selected the Sports link at the top of the page the banner brought me to, then selected the NFL in the left margin and some NFL games then appeared.

I then selected some of the NFL games that were available.  One of the games I’m interested in this week is the NE/JAC game, where each game (when selected) brought up defaulted numbers (lines) for spreads and totals.  These were default numbers that were bolded with a statement that one team would win by more than x points (the NE/JAC game currently says JAC will win by more than 2.5 points; the total O/U is 44.5).  Since were using -110 to go with the spread and total, this is the number I believe we’re supposed to use for this contest as it appears the numbers they’re defaulting to are the closest to 50% (I’m not very familiar with Kalshi) even though it appears you can change these defaulted numbers to different numbers/lines (higher or lower).

I hope this is the correct process based on the instructions provided by djbrow, if this is not correct please kindly advise (it would actually be simpler for me to just use DraftKings from the Odds link in the Forum section which shows game lines easily and prominently for all the games on the Odds page).

If for some reason this is not correct, I did notice that DraftKings also currently has the same line (JAC -2.5) this week as the defaulted Kalshi line for the NE/JAC game (JAC -2.5).  Thank you!
