WEEK 4 BUFFALO -3 ? WHAT AM I MISSING HERE?

This line seems so easy it scares me.  Anyone betting the other way on this that can explain to me why?  This seems like such a square play but I can't help myself.

Seen it this morning as well....i would HATE a let down game at this point...-3 seems like such a gimme...but then so did the Pats at -7

I saw the Bills coming against the Pats and also took Oak against the Jets but I just dont see the angle on this one. 

I already have money on it because I figured the line would move but still feel like its a strange line.

You don't think the fact the Bill just played out of their minds against the Pats - the first win in something like 15+ games against the Pats might not spell let down?  Just about everything went in their favor yesterday with 4 TO's by Brady.

You saw how the Ravens lost in week 2 to the Titans after a huge emotional win against the Steelers in week 1. Same thing applies in week 4 with the Bills and the books know that. HUGE letdown spot for them.

well   i dont see the bungals winning--- and yes bills  were so--so--lucky---if bills played that game 10 more times--they will lose it---so they now are road faves---

one think om sure of----if my hopeless lowly 49er team can win to this bungals----Bills will sure can also

The best reason I can give is that this is a bad spot for the Bills. They've just come off a huge, emotional win against the Pats and now have to go on the road and play the Bungles who have a better defense than some may think (and probably the best defense they're going to face to this point in the season). Couple that with the fact that they play the Eagles the following week and you now have yourself a classic sandwich game. Buffalo is a solid team but they may be a bit overvalued at this point and are just running into a bad spot. Just my two cents. BOL.

Yep. Happens all the time in football. I'll be leaving this game alone.

That is exactly what I'm concerned about also but I still feel like the bills are too hungry to prove they are legit to have such a HUGE letdown.  I suspect they may come out flat in 1st half, but they will turn it on in the 2nd to pull of the win by 3 or more.

I'' be very surprised if the Bengals don't win outright.


Bills are a nice story, but they're not going anywhere.

Bengals play defense. Something Buffalo has not see or heard of this year.

This definitely looks like a let down spot but its Bills -3 or nothing in this game. You wanna be the guy that says after the game, " I knew the Bills were gonna blast the Bengals", & you're over here holding a Bengals ticket thats a loser........ imo, Bills win by 10 or more.

Let down angle wont work on this team. The Bills have been let down for years and have gotten all the let downs out of their systems.

Bills will fight every week they are the hungriest team in the league by far.

Just go with Cincy +3. A letdown spot and a popular system play applies to this game. Cincy should be the POD for next week.

I won't be saying the guy that says that because they're not going to blast them. If somehow they should, I'll be the guy with the Cinci ticket saying, "wow I can't believe Buffalo did this after what they had to go through the last two weeks."

On the contrary, this is a Cinci or no play, not the converse.

Benson might not play for the bengals. If they cant run the ball with some success they have absolutely no chance of covering.

I love what the Bengals defense is doing right now.. But they have done it against the Browns, Broncos, and 49ers.

If you cant score you cant win, and if Benson isnt playing their is no way the red-rocket can pass this team to a cover/win.

Bills for me no doubt

The Bengals have a pretty good defense but until they fire their offensive coordinator, they're just not going to win very many games. They should be 3-0 but they're 1-2 because you can watch one of their games and call every single play when they have the ball.

They lost to Denver because they didn't open the offense up until the second half and they lost to San Francisco because they tried not to lose the game instead of trying to win it. You can't win in the NFL if you can't consistently score over 20 points no matter how good your defense is.

simple rule if the bet is easy for u to throw your money in is a sucker bet....and the harder the choice the likely chance of winning is higher

That's the truth...  Other factors have me scratching my head over that line, as well.  One of them being the fact that even though Cincinatti is the home team, there will be a significant amount of Bills fans present at this game.  (I truly think 15,000-20,000 fans is not out of the question)  Cincy only had 44,000 at the home opener, so the amount of their fans in the stadium will drop this week.  That line will move.  -4.5 or -5 would make sense.  As it stands right now, it doesn't make much sense...

I don't see a letdown in this spot for the Bills,usually teams who have started to get a taste of winning don't let down.

Even if they did,the Bengals are too bad to take advantage.
