Nice predictions. I am starting to like this Minny under 49 alot. They won't be the same offense without Rice and Favre is just unpredictable now. Their defense, however, is improved with a healthy Winfield. Thoughts?
I can't really seem to figure out which way I want to go in that game, which is in turn making it tough for me to come up with a total lean. I've been trying everything to have an idea of what to do for the game. Winfield being healthy is huge, Winfield plays like a linebacker in space. Great tackler. Love that guy, think he is one of the best corners in the NFL. I don't necessarily think Rice is that big of a loss. I think adding Camarillo will fill a bit of the void. I've never thought that this game is going to be a shootout. Under 49 is probably the way to go, but I'm struggling with this game. I could see the Vikings winning straight up or losing by 10 plus. I don't like that. Most likely I could see this being a 24-20 type game. I do think both teams score 3 times at least which would also scare me. Hope this helps, I'm just very unsure.

Cincinnati +4.5 (8) Detroit/Chicago Over 43 (5) Seattle +3 (3) Tennessee -6.5 (1) Denver +2.5 (1) St Louis +3.5 (1)
Everyone knows I'm a Bengals fan. I'm upgrading the play because I'm not going away from this gut feeling that I have. All the focus is on New England. No Logan Mankins, their best offensive line. Randy Moss is whining already. Everyone thinks the Bengals can't co exist. The Bengals will be able to co exist. The Bengals defense is much much better than people think. They will be just as good as last year. I think they have the corners to match up with New England's receivers. It should be the best game of week 1 but I think the Bengals are going to win. If everyone remembers last season if I made a big play on the Bengals it came through. I was wrong about the playoff game, but it wasn't a big play. I was right both times they went to Pitt and Baltimore both extremely large plays. This is going to be another case where I think the Bengals don't have all the attention on them and can just go into New England and play their game. Should be a good contest.

Hey Whodeys. I'm gonna roll with the Chi/Det over and I'll lay small on Cinci as well. Normally I'll take Indy and NE early as the institutions but the Pats are a different team now.

I stated earlier that this was only for my Sunday plays. The Chiefs will be a play on Monday yes. The Browns probably won't be a play although I do like the game is catching 3.5. In that thread I was only discussing plays and what my leans were. As of now yes to Kansas City and no to the Browns. Thanks for asking.

Denver's D may keep them in it but not enough to lost by less then 3. I do like the Chicago/Detroit over as well. I'm staying away from the Cincy/NE game. May take the over. Frisco is going to roll over Seattle. Frisco has much better D, Frank Gore, and Vernon Davis are going to scorch them.

Thanks for the compliments yeah I'm off to a tremendous start, hopefully keep it going. As for the Jets probably not, I might stay away from the game to tell you the truth. I haven't even looked into the game much I'd probably lean your Ravens if any.

Interesting because I'm not on all the same plays everyone else is on. Green Bay, San Francisco, everyone will be on the Chargers Monday, I'll take the Chiefs. I have a feeling I'll do just fine this weekend.

Like the majority of your choices brother----not quite as sold on Cincy as you are, and I'm not betting the game. This match-up may spell the difference for me regarding how well the Bengals co-exist. No questions about their motivation and talent, just not buying this T.O. thing completely. The Titans. Broncos, and Rams selections are brilliant----of course those are my choices also. Not a Pete Carroll fan, and will watch this 1st outing. The over in the NFC No. contest looks good. Best of luck this new yr.
