I agree NAACP should not be anywhere near this VICK stuff.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;But I also think the "venom" that people have towards Vick being able to play in the NFL again may be paritally racial...but the NFL did not block him and a couple of teams showed interest in him, so the racial thing is a non-story and NAACP should have seen ths as a nontroversy.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;But the media and several others did see a black man trying to make millions of dollars and their appeared to be "movement" or "prejudice" or whatever you want to call it  --- to blackball Vick from the NFL.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;But it never materialized, so it is a nonissue....NAACP should have recognized that and remained in hibernation.

why will there be a PETA Protest then? Vick made a mistake, admit it and paid his debt to society. This NAACP rally is to combat PETA.
lol I'd love to see PETA try to protest at the Linc during Philly regular season games. They'd all get their asses beat by drunk angry Eagle fans LOL

what a lot of people fail to understand (and this does not mean i am condoling it ) is that things like dog fighting can be a "normal" pasttime to certain african american's ..... especially if they grew up around it all of their lives.

not saying that is vick's excuse but i personally know many black people who engage in such activities and otherwise they are good ppl but when it comes to dog's and things like that , for some reason they
no moral boundaries .

ya i see how donte stallworth gets drunk and kills someone gets 30 days in jail and vick getrs 2yrs. real fair!&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;vick got screwed because peta made a big stink over it. and in my eyes peta are just attention person and need to be in front of the camera. I&#x27;m sorry but any group who tries to make a big deal of the president swatting a fly loses all credibility.
