   Yes andarmac99, I think I remember you posting that argument. I am biased because Marino was my favorite quarterback, but I always thought he was the best and would have won one with a better team around him. Best of luck as it sounds like you're on the Steelers, and I'm on the Packers, so at least someone will win.

You are overlooking how good Roethlisberger is as a QB because you don't like him as a person.



I might add Roethlisberger had the highest rating in the 4th quarter and OT this season and his career 4th quarter rating in both combined Super Bowls is 145.0. The man is a winner and money in the clutch.

SB wins doesnt mean everything. Trent Dilfer is 1-0 in SBs.....Dan Marino is 0-1. So DIlfer is better than Dan the Man? Hmmmm

I never said Ben wasnt a winner, I said Warner was a better qb. I have watched both play a ton and thats the conclusion I've come to.

Not to mention that Warner didnt come right out of college and play....he was late 20s before he got his shot. Just think if he had 5 or 6 more years under his belt...probably own every record in the book

Marino would have done better in the current pro-style offenses... with more then 3 WRs on the field at once... or a shot gun, spread or empty sets?

Marino played in the age of the 2 RB, 1 TE, 1 WR sets... marino and his quick release would do well in in today's game...

   I agree dl...I guy like Marino would have 40+ touchdowns a season with the rules and offenses they have now. Elway and Kelly would have better numbers as well because nowadays you cannot touch a receiver without getting it called...back then they would get mugged...
