and for all of you douchebag morons who keep saying "the Jets won because Kaeding missed 3 FGs"... let me tell you something that was going through all of us Jets backers' minds last week when he missed those FGs...
who cares? Jets can run this ball down their sphincter at will at this point in the game... once the Jets went up 17-7 the game was over... there wasn't a chance in hell the Chargers were winning that game... the Jets sat on their lead, but IF any of those FGs had been successful, they would have stopped sitting on their lead...
you guys act like if all of those FGs had gone through that time would have magically expired with the Jets trailing... bullshit! when the Jets were behind in the game, they were dominating the line of scrimmage... when they were ahead, they were dominating the line of scrimmage...
the Jets were winning that game no matter how on fire Kaeding was going to be, or how cold he was going to be... and a 53 yard FG isn't exactly a gimme, anyway...
stop making excuses... you made an absolutely TERRIBLE bet and lost...
A really bad bet since up to 8 of 22 starters partied til 3 am on sat.which is why they looked like crap. But you don't live in SD so you wouldn't know what really went down smartass.

Jets are playing like the 05? Steelers... remember when Steelers went into Cincinnati and cheap shot at Carson Palmer's knee on first play and won that game, then I think went to Denver, then blocked FG at Indy then won Superbowl, and with a rookie QB. Same as JETS this year (but they didn't cheep shot the other QB to win at Cincy)
Jets +8
I have the stat math model charts for all those games and compared it to this one
You're not even close

and this proves what? that the Chargers have no heart? are poorly coached? have a rock-head at QB?
all the more reason you should have been on the Jets...

It should be "In Missed Field Goals" or "In Shayne Graham & Nate Kaeding you lust."
...but you guys hung in there and won. I just think a much more Mature QB leading a more mature team, with a good D will win. Colts beat the Ravens pretty well, and Jets = Ravens.
It was a good run in Rex's 1st yr...speaking of running...dude needs to hit a stair master or treadmill.

You should have seen the thousands of people that turned up at Times Square for the J-E-T-S rally.
The fans are eager and have waited a long long time to feel good about ourselves.
No Patriots, No Dolphins and No Giants. PRICELESS
Yeah i saw it, funny thing is, you all will be the same fare weather fans that will bash Rex or Sanchez when they go 9-7 in a yr or 2 and try to run them out of town.
dude get a grip. there is so many more important things to focus on then if your Jets make it to the super bowl, and some how win. All the players and coaches will get richer and then the owners will jack the season tickets up, just like they did for the Giants after they won... and 95% of all our lives will be the same; and we will still be left with our economy issues.
Sorry, not with a rookie sanchez and Braylon Jelly Fingers.
Hell, stranger things have happened...I am not a pro-capper, just trying to be realistic.
Go root for your College, your Alma Mater...you have a vested interest in that. There you can benefit from their sports programs succeeding... bringing in more money for the school, helping your schools scholastic programs advance, help you career center and bolster your resume...AND HELP YOU DIRECTLY in your career's future!
Sorry man, its just all of those fans in Times Square just looked kinda foolish. DOnt get me wrong its good to have team spirit, but you guys look more desperate than Cubs' Fans. I just didnt really get it.
Maybe this is a good thing for some NY'ers to focus on while the economy sux balls; help keep spirits up...
