- The second best team they have played, the Bills, were up 14 at one point, and gave up 10 points in the final 4 minutes to lose by 3.
- They rank #4 in total yard allowed per game and their pass defense is #10. However, look at these quarterbacks they've went up against:
Colt McCoy
Kyle Orton
Alex Smith
Ryan Fitzpatrick
Blaine Gabbert
Curtis Painter
Tavaris Jackson/Charlie Whitehurst
Matt Hasselback
Give me a break, please. Of course their defensive numbers are going to look great.
-They have the #2 rush defense in the league. This, on the other hand, is not as much of an illusion. While they have played just about every terrible offense in the league, their rush defense is solid, I will give them that.
Dalton has had a nice rookie season, but he will be exposed today. The only defense he has faced that is even remotely similar to the Steelers is the 49ers, which only gave up 8 points in the game. While the Bengals do have a solid run defense, the Steelers don't rely heavily on the run, and boast a top 10 passing attack. The Steelers roll today gentlemen
Steelers -3
