The worst thing that Vegas could have done for the psyche of the Patriots was to install them as 3 point favorites over the Giants. I mean even if the Pats were dogs, the pressure would still be off the charts for them to win this SB. I mean think about what's at stake here. Previously Brady/Belichik 18-0 undefeated season was at stake the last time these two teams met in the SB. That loss will forever be connected to BB. It was an absolutely devastating loss for BB and the Pats organization. If you don’t think that game haunts them till this day, you don’t know anything about these two guys. And now they meet again, with their hall of fame reputations on the line when they face the same team that crushed their undefeated season like a Pepsi can. Brady has said that he has yet to watch a single clip of the last SB vs the Giants. How many times do you think Belichik will be waking up from his sleep this week with visions of David Tyree holding a football against his helmet smiling at him. Brady could be having the same nightmares, Its human nature. All the PRESSURE is on the Patriots to win this game. Giants are 9-7 and underdogs, they are exactly where they want to be and exactly when you want to play the Gmen. Now think about the other angle of monster pressure here, This season has been dedicated to Bob Kraft's wife. The owner's hopes and dreams for redemption over the undefeated season SB loss and the loss of his wife is hanging on a SB Victory over the Giants. All the players know this. I think they have more pressure to WIN this game then they had in the 18-0 SB. Should the Pats gets down 10-0 early, this can turn into an ugly game. Lets face it, we are way over due for a bad SB game. Im not saying it will happen but the chances are pretty good. This Pats team is Brady and that Big idiot Tight end with a mix of Welker and Hernandez, that’s it. They have no running game and no deep threat. The Pats defense is very average also. No big-time Pass Rush. Eli will have all day to carve them up. They really are not that good and played an awfully weak schedule while the Giants had arguable the hardest schedule in the NFL this year. How they ( The Pats ) won last week vs the Ravens ? Only God knows. Brady was very shaky in last weeks AFC title game, it almost seemed like he was thinking instead of reacting or just had a lot on his mind, he was just off. Missing open guys and over throwing as well. The Pats could still win this game, It’s the NFL but MAN is the PRESSURE IMMENSE. The Pats DEFENSE will need to win this game. If they cant pressure Eli consistantly, its over for the Pats.
