Walt----you obviously don't know your ass from page eight.
In a league where avg QB play is the norm, somebody will bid that high. All they need is 2 teams and the bidding begins. Check back w/me in April, somebody will no doubt throw a package together. In that package their will either be multiple picks or a pick as high as a 2nd or 3rd. Do honestly think that the Skins and Raiders wouldn't be intrested?
BTW--don't get all defensive about the QB thing. Your kid isn't made for playoff football. Does he still hold for the point after?![]()
Walt, when did Romo win the NFC?
Put down the pipe...

Romo has only been starting for three years. No he not an elite qb yet and im not praising him for every good or bad throw he makes but in my opinion he's on the same level as mcnabb.
No team wanted to take a chance on Vick when he was a free agent. Why would anyone give the eagles a 2nd when they know that they aren't going to pay the 5mil to keep him next year? There is not one gm in the league that would make that deal

cowboys will take the loss, philly is just a smarter team, Tony Romo will be on the hot seat if he doesn't come threw on this game he needs a win but he just don't make good choices with the ball so the being said i like Philly To win By 12 or better....O yeah dont sleep on Vick during playoffs he will be active.

Walt, I see you're from Mississippi. I will type this very slowly for you, as you seem to not be able to grasp info quickly.
Grabbing Vick was a way for them to make their "product" better. At the end of the day this is a business. In order to ensure that you stay @ or near the top, teams need to draft wisely (high picks help) and spend wisely in FA. For example, they let Dawkins walk, Denver OVERPAID the guy plain and simple. Most Eagle fans and I'm guessing by what I've read from a couple of those buffoons here, still think it was a bad move. It was BUSINESS. They are 11-4, and in the playoffs. It couldn't have been that bad of a move.
Getting back to Vick. Some franchise had to take the initial "PR hit". The Eagles have done that. They weathered the initail storm, it also helped that they have a bonafide upper echelon QB. Never was there any question about him actually being a starter.
If you don't think that 2 teams out there will be interested, well then son you're bulb is much dimmer than I originally thought
. If 2or 3 teams get into the mix, that is how they get the 2nd or 3rd pick--the Eagles can then sit back and let the bidding begin. I DO NOT think he's worth it, but again we get back to the fact that it's a business---SUPPLY AND DEMAND. As long as teams are trotting out QBs like Chad Henne, Trent Edwards, Brady Quinn, Marc Bulger, Jamarcus Russel etc, then there will be interest in the guy. I can't leave out the Skins here, as their owner Snyder is such a clown, he may have interest as well.
Lastly Walt, Romo isn't on the same level as McNAbb yet...McNabb has been doing this for awhile. Along the way he has earned the debate of whether or not he's a HOFer. In fact Tom Jackson, Carter etc talked about this a few weeks ago on ESPN pregame. They cited a SB win and or a few more solid seasons would probably be necessary. Walt I was paing attention, they never mentioned Romo in the conversation. Sorry buddy.
One more time, last year in Arizona the defense was not good enough "when it mattered". Dawkins and company got their dicks knocked in the dirt after they were handed the lead.

Jsab --- You're right he did get the ball back in Arizona, only to have a sure first down dropped by Curtis on 4th.
Daabirds, this guy is somewhat challenged. Not worth the effort.

no comparison..... its one thing to be a homer, but totally different to be a dumbass homer
EAGLES - 31
dallASS - 23

I never said we don't have flaws... we have a bunch... you in every thread talking about the saints how this don't matter or this or this ... it gets very old to see you hate on the vikings or any team when obviously your team has major issues going into the play offs

The only team i hate more than the Eagles is Dallas. I would rather see the Eagles win the division than those shitheads in Dallas.
I think this is going to be a really close game, i would have to lean Philly![]()
