WRONG..... and I am not a pats homer, just an outside observer....

The pats have a TON of draft picks over the next couple of years, including a very good pick from the raiders for which they will trade down and get 2 or 3 second or third round draft picks......

The NFL is one sport where the draft has huge importance because of the immeadiate impact players have on their teams.....

SUPERBOWLS ARE WON IN MAY by teams that draft well rounds 2 through 6

NE has not been able to replace their aging defense. All the playmakers are gone and nobody can step up to fill the many voids.

Could be true, Belichick ( he&#x27;s pushing 60), Brady and Moss are getting older. Also, who knows what Welker will be like next year? Although, I see them loading up next year and making one more run.If Carolina doesn&#x27;t franchise Peppers again ( would cost them 20 mill ) , I could see him being a target. In 2006 ( ?) Denver punched them out in the 1st round and B.B. loaded up with Moss, Welker, Thomas, etc..I see the same scenario playing out in the off season. But ya, that window isn&#x27;t shut, but it&#x27;s  damn close.J-E-T-S and the Phins are definitely on the way up. It&#x27;s been a great ride.
