I seriously think this New England team is incredible. One of the best, if not the greatest team to play the game of American football. They are poised and always seem to dominate before and after the game. Should be an easy route to winning the Superbowl.

The above post started this thread and now here we are 9-0.

They have 6 remaining home games, assuming home field thoughout the playoffs, three road games, and one neutral site game (again assuming a trip to Phoenix.

I would say the two biggest land mines are at Baltimore and at NY Giants.  Neither really scare me at all, but they are road games in NFL and you never know.  If the PATS go 15-0 into the Giants game, please take the "resting of players" factor out of your head.  They will not rest players in a close game, especially with a two week break coming up. 

As far as Pitt winning at The Razor, please get that silly idea out of your head.  Pitt will be between a 12-14 point dog, if not more.  The Pats are not losing at home.

Pats will have to play the Giants that last game and by then they will have a playoff spot. If the Giants need that win to make the playoffs it could be a rough game for NE. Remember in 1999 when the Broncos were 13-0 and played the what 6-7 Giants? And the Giants won. If it can happen, it will happen, Murphy's law.
Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!

I might have to disagree with you on this Giants game situation --If you already lock up home feild #1 seed why would you risk your offensive players against this defence and if something happens it can cost you a future game ---I dont think at that point they will care about the undefeated record more then getting through the playoffs healthy and you will see starters on the bench in this game and possible the only loss of the season ..BUT this all remains to be seen so ---Stay tuned

Especially If the Giants need this game to say get to the playoffs or to lock up some sort of home feild i wouldnt want to risk my players meaning NE against  a hungry bunch of guys looking to seal up a playoff birth or a significant spot in the post season ---Way to risky , because this might be the team they meet in the Superbowl and if iam the Giants and you risk having the startes on the Feildjust for an undefeated record  iam going after them no matter who they are ---Right or wrong step aside from your love for the team and think of the consequences

Look at Coach B's history.  In previous years he has played his starters three quarters or more.   Remember, they will likely get a bye as well, so the last thing they will want to do is be stale going into a playoff game two weeks later.
 
Now, if a player has a nagging injury, I can see a few guys sitting out.  However, I think it's all systems "go" if they are 15-0.

Heres another scenario maybe the Giants will have already locked up #1 seed and dont need that game and sit there starters out and there you have it ---I hope thats where it winds up too be ,that would be perfect

IMO it's nearly impossible for them to lose at The Razor this year.  Two of three playoff games will be there, and thanks to Patrick Crayton the Pats have extra motivation for the SB.

Get on board or get out the way, the 19-0 train is steaming through!

Assuming a closely played game in Miami this weekend between Buff and Phins,  I'm guessing an opening line of -15 / 52 for the Sunday night tilt on 11/18.

I will honestly say the Colts had me "a bit" worried.  I thought it was a longshot for them to beat the Pats at Gillette, but not impossible (not matter what I might have said).
 
Now with Freeney out, you can forget it.
 
19-0 is very very very real right now.

I am not a patriots fan but an admirer.  I think this is one of the best teams we have seen in a long time.  The thing that would concern me Holly Bull is that this is not the same team that was unbeatable in dec and jan at Gillette.  This team is built with speed more like the Colts.  If this team has a guy in the armor it has been the innability to stop the run.  However they have not had to because other teams get behing quickly and have to throw the ball.  But when the weather turns bad in Boston and the snow is flying and the temperature is in the teens with a windchill at 0.  Will this team be able to run and to stop the run.  They are not getting any younger on defense.
