Season Record 13-17-1
Two Team Moneyline (+101 payoff)
KC Chiefs -180 (The Cowboys shot a big emotional load last week can they keep it up)
Philly Eagles -335 (The Eagles' experience should be the difference)

I've read that 50% of circa survivors saved the Eagles up to this point. There will be a lot of people counting on the Eagles this Friday.
Good Luck

KC off OT on a short week on the road. I mean Denver shot their load vs thwe Giants even worse and the next game was at home and they won easy. Better spot for Dallas but are they good enough to beat Eagles and KC back to back?

@Wingit
Cowboys were underdogs versus the Eagles so the win took max effort especially with the big comeback.,.
KC were the favorites and they wokeup in the second half and yes an OT game is draining but they were at home and only down by 11.
Can Dak sustain at this pace or will he turn into a pumpkin? I prefer the brain trust of Reid, Spags, and Mahomes.

Same. Five trips inside the red zone and only one TD to show for it. Plus an early turnover gave the Colts a free TD and 7-0 lead. Chiefs had 239 more total yards but it didn't translate into points. Frustrating way to lose my top play of the month. ![]()

The Bears are making progress but the Steelers' D can make any team look good. The Eagles should blow this injured Bears' team out.
The pitchforks are out in Pitrsburgh and if Buffalo hangs some scores up early on the board, expect chants of 'fire Tomlin' to be heard.
The Fan radio stream out of Pittsburgh is exploding with anti Tomlin rage.
Their rage is centered on pi$$ poor schematics and surprisingly one of the players chimed in (Patrick Queen).
The criticisms seem valid to me. Playing 3 man coverage with 4 receivers going vertical...in the strip sack of Rudolph, 6 max protect and the Bears only sent 3 rushers.
James Harrison on his show added to the Tomlin pile on. He despises Tomlin for how he was treated. Even Cowherd weighed in so Tomlin's support on mainstream media is fading.
Steelers are such an up and down (see manic/depressive) team, it wouldn't surprise me if they won on Sunday. That is how they roll. ![]()

In my thread last week about the Bears/Steelers game, there was one thing that kept me off of the Steelers. And that is Arthur Smith. I said that he is "kind of a dumb ass".
Low and behold, the next day after the game I saw the Steelers pass chart. Not one pass over the middle of the field. Not one!! When a team is missing all their starting LB's.
That's a fire able offense if you ask me.
The game ended up being the easiest over I have ever cashed. And I don't play overs much at all.
Keep looking at the Bears injury report this week. They should have starting CB Jaylon Johnson and starting Nickel Kyler Gordon back. And a chance that starting LB TJ Edwards plays, an ex Philadelphia Eagle.

Rodgers, Wilson, Fields, Pickett, Rudolph, and even the later years of Ben were not allowed to throw over the middle...Arthur Smith is prevented from calling those plays. What is the one constant, Mike Tomlin...he lives in his fears. This is a well known fact among Pittsburghers.
Smith and Austin are the scapegoats...Tomlin is not the nice guy you think he is.
All facets of offense and defense are controlled by Coach Teflon.

I am thinking Dallas won't be this suddenly consistent juggernaut.
@Boisestateand8
Chiefs were strangely anemic in the red zone for sure.

We'll see big guy.

Arthur Smith sucked as an OC with the Titans. One good year there could definitely be attributed to Derrick Henry and the coaching of Mike Vrabel. Vrabel pulled of some great strategies in 2020.
Arthur Smith was a disaster as the Falcons HC.
For me, I never thought of Tomlin as an x's and o's guy. Isn't he just there as a conductor of sorts. The motivation type of guy as well?
I could never see him drawing up plays or calling them.
Making dumb in game decisions yes, I've seen those for sure. Like the game theory type stuff, the usage or misuse of timeouts. When to punt or not to punt. FG or go for it, extra pt or 2 points, and so forth...
Just my opinion.

On another YouTube channel run by the Steel Twins, they showed charts of all of the QBs that I listed and they all looked the same. Checkdowns and sideline passes. This is not a new phenomenon as it covers offensive coordinators before Arthur Smith. Since Todd Haley firing, Tomlin has run the show.
One of the reasons OC Bruce Arians was forced out is because of friction with guess who? Dick LeBeau their DC was forced out also and once again friction with guess who? Coach Canton. Nah, the numbnuts in the woodpile is Mr. Wonderful.

Is it Tomlin telling them how to call plays then? Seems like an unproductive strategy. And a very behind closed doors type thing if true. First time I'm hearing it, but I believe you.
Although you have to agree that Arthur Smith isn't a very good play caller, the evidence is there before he even got to Pitt.
And hey, if it's Tomlin hiring these guys, they're not good hires. That's on him too

Tomlin's chief offensive rule is to not throw down the middle, this is the core restraint that prevents them from making their offense (or any other offense) roll. Tomlin is NOT calling all of the individual plays. That would be a ridiculous charge to make.
Tomlin's system is to keep the game close, play safe, and with defensive turnovers, all will be well in his garden of dreams. When the Steelers' D doesn't get multiple turnovers, they lose.
By the way, in his last 17 games Tomlin's record is 6-11.
The Romans had a saying and they did rule the world for over a thousand years: "Given enough rope, they will hang themselves".

So K.C. didn't exert a lot of energy coming back last week? Also, Dallas literally beat Philly up, so they may have issues against Chicago. Good luck either way. ??
