Tebow to CFL !!!

Question

I think Tim Tebow and his agent should look at the CFL for his next contract. I think Tebow would be a star in the CFL. The wider and longer field would fit his skill set to a tee. The wider splits that the defensive line take and the rule that allows men in motion before the ball is snapped could assist Tebow in the passing game. Let&#x27;s face it Tebow is not an NFL QB so his only option is the CFL. Remember Flutie!!! Also, if a CFL team does sign him the league would get a boost in TV ratings and maybe have their games on TV in the US more often. He had a great run with Denver but his time with the Jets has set him back big time. So lets go BC offer Tim a contract and win the Grey Cup next season!!!!

I think Tebow would have great success in the up north.The Defense lines up one yard off the ball in the CFL and most 2nd and 3rd and 1s are gimmies. With Tebow's brute strength and explosiveness I'd even go as far as saying he'd convert 80% of the time on 2nd down and three to go.
He lacks mechanics in his throwing but the wide field would give him plenty of scramble options.
Tebow is probably faster than any linebacker or defensive end in the CFL.

The problem is why would he or his agent support the move?

Moneywise, he's making around 1 million base and that doesn't include any endorsements or incentives. If the Jets let him go, there will be another team to pick him up for various reasons.

Football-wise, even if we assume he would be sucessful in CFL, fans and NFL people still wouldn't give him proper credit. He will never be another Moon. I don't think he will ever be a good NFL QB( too much flaws to work on and no team could afford that) but he seems to be determined to prove otherwise.

No team in the NFL wants him except maybe Jacksonville so the money he makes now will dry up anyway. The CFL is his only hope. Like I said in my first post I think he will be a star up north.
