The match-up in the super bowl doesnt happen too often................it came up 8 times since 1985 & the verdict is 4-3-1 ATS...............like I thought, nothing to go on..........

No, it doesnt worry me the public is pounding the Giants at all...........Public was pound the G-men past 3 playoff games & they got the money.................no difference here............pro bettors jumped on the Giants at +3.5 & ML  & are still drilling the line..............gonna be interesting to see if the line drops to 2.............

Last year it was 1-11-2-ats before Steelers (#2 seed) played against Packers (#5 seed) in SB XLV. And we all know lower seed Packers beat Steelers in last SB, so the stat should go 1-12-2 ATS now.

I just went back & checked & the lower seed is 9-1-1 ATS since 1999............

N.Eng is 3-1 in S.B. under Belichick, N.Eng failed to cover ( 0-3 ATS & 2-1 SU ) when listed as fav in S.B./ The under has gone 3-1 last 4 S.B.under Belichick. Giants beat N.Eng 17-14 with total of 55. Giants beeb to S.B. 4 Times going 3-1 winning twice outright as dogs. NFC has won 3 of last 4 S.B. & covered all 4. The last 3 S.B. with a total of 50+ all went under. Giants played 3 games in a Dome or retractable roof went 2-1 SUATS & 3-0 Over. N.England did not play indoors this season

 According to Elias, the Patriots may have pulled off the greatest escape in modern postseason history.  Teams that are +2 in turnover differential and outgain their opponent by 50+ yards are 110-1 in the playoffs.

Make that 110-2.

If anyone doesn't deserve to be in the SB it is NE.  With that said I think they take advantage of their good fortune and pull out a win & cover.
