It used to be the NBA.
They would make small calls that would make gigantic differences. Just about every NBA call could be a foul.
Just like you can make calls all night in the NFL and say the defense is holding or PI (or not for the TD).
That was the NBA, and that's how they rigged games.

Hate the nfl now more then ever. S—t league that’s turned into WWE, refs have to much control and they decide who wins. That needs to stop. There’s reason why ratings are down and people have lost interest

The ones that click and read the thread agree with your statement and go to work telling their coworkers how the NFL is rigged...."did you see last nights game? it was rigged!?" I think these same people grew up watching WWE where the Ref in the ring is scripted to rig the match for the thrilling finish and they correlate that with the NFL.

My firend, it is ALL bread and circus. Sports are used to control the masses, just like religion.
Tonight's game was a perfect example of how the league is trying to boost TNF ratings. But it is not limited ot that.
Ask yourself: do NFL refs have the strongest union in the world? Cuz any of US would be fired for such "incompetence"........unless we were instructed to be incompetent.
....for the sake of money and entertainment. Not that hard to see.

there are so many injuries in the nfl now, and SERIOUS injuries, that it is on its way out to where no parent with any sense would have their kid play football any more. it's just done.

I agree the calls are bad if you take into consideration that there is a fix on these one off monday and thrusday games actually the favs have won it more times and Vegas had to payup. Maybe the conspiracy here is get people up on Monday and Thursday to take the money on Sunday....it is just nature of the beast it could go either way...

from mckenzie milton, to joe flacco, to carson wentz, to roethlisberger, garapollo, alex smith, colt mccoy, we're talking about injuries that permanently scar people for life. and that's just the quarterbacks....

the game is done fellas. it's just a matter of time.
add the referees and their nonsense, and how players sacrifice their bodies to give it over to referees to unfairly rig games and seasons (see minnesota and their offensive coordinator whose life was changed)...and now kc has to fight for home field when they had no business having to do that...
what a joke.
as someone said, as much as i love football, it's best to see it end by january. maybe next year there's a light in the nfl, but then again maybe NOT with Roger Goodell still in charge.

baseball used to be the sport for everyone to watch.
now nobody watches baseball unless they're over 50.
horse racing used to be popular, now it's dying all over the country.
so football is next.
there's no question about it. too many injuries, and now the game has lost its integrity with the referees. even with replay, they can't get it right. they basically destroyed the game today.

They are rigging games left and right. Ask the Eagles, season over. Ask the Vikings, season over. Ask the Chiefs tonight, so much for that 1 seed.
It just goes on and on and on....and to not recognize it is to be blind to it.
The change is, you have to handicap who the refs want to win the game now. Just like you had to with the NBA.

Well I know that KC's next game is at Seachickens a week from Sunday
night and the NFL was about to flex it out because it wouldn't mean
anything. They decided to keep it when they saw their options were
worse. Seems things have a funny way of working themselves out.
I liked the comments from the broadcasters when one said, "I really hate all these questionable at best calls on 3rd and longs that keep drives alive." And the other goes, "Well the NFL wasn't happy that scoring was down last year so..." 
It's nice to have a president with balls and a first lady without them.

Exactly. And the biggest problem are these arbitrary calls. 3 defensive holdings on LAC in a crucial drive (one was on 3rd and 10). There is holding on every play, on both teams. Sometimes they call when its only blatant, sometimes, like tonight, they just call it when they want to. It's total nonsense and these "holding" calls need to be more clearly defined and get some consistency across the league for everyones sanity.
Tonight, the refs dictated the game, I cash my ticket, Chargers win. (Not sure who should've "honestly" won, probably an LAC cover at least). Tomorrow, who knows what happens

There have always been sketchy games. This year it's over 85% that come down to the last play of the game. That's unheard of in any sport, in any league.
As we tracked these games, we placed smaller wagers against teams that had over 70% wagers on them. It was like clockwork. I can't speak for every single game, but this has returned every time we have done this. I don't have the time to track every game, but if you were to watch just the games where there is a huge discrepancy in money wagered, you will find the striped shirts playing a huge role in the last 5 minutes of the game.
Remember last year when the last 6 weeks, 70% of favorites covered the spread? You had to know that wasn't going to happen this year. They took their match fixing to almost comical levels this year. This game is entertainment. You should always treat it as such.

the refs are ruing the game very big play , just wait wait here it comes the flag, no call on the helmet to helmet on rivers yet they want too protect the qb , then constant calls on both secondarys, it is hard to tell who's side the refs are on i had chargers +4, these calls are terrible what about the cowboys eagles opening kickoff fumble 3 eagles on the ball a not 1 cowboy on the pile and yet they say there wasn't a clear recovery are they taking ACID or what

First the Refs were rigging it for the Chiefs at home because Mahomes is the new generation for the NFL....Getting every call in favor for the Chiefs...THEN the last 10 seconds you get a PI call in FAVOR for chargers TWICE! All the sudden it was rigged for chargers to win No matter which way it goes its rigged I came in here to post THIS! its not trolling its the dam truth.....
