The play calling said it all..They don't trust Russ...or believe he can move the ball....He looks lost in the pocket....

every time someone says this about a qb I know more than likely he has a bad O-line and its not the qb yep denver's o line was no match for chargers and russ had to move around all night. 

U kidding me..Did u see that 3rd and 1 play to start OT..He had a clean pocket... He had 15 total passing yards in the 2nd half and OT...Sure OL is bad..but you can still pass the ball 3-5 yards like Herbert was..all game

He does not have any receivers that can separate themselves from DB. Besides the fact the the HC is in idiot for not having him play in the pre season to adjust playing with the new offense.

3 takeaways from Denver's season as a whole

Wilson is NOT a traditional pocket passer, the pocket needs to be constantly moving or run a RPO type of offense. He is too short to see over the line hence the batted balls.

Wilson needs to run the ball a few more times to create a little imbalance with the defensive set.

Wilson is not the Old Wilson of Seattle. He needs to get better with his accuracy(which wasn't that good to begin with) He needs a few receivers that can separate themselves and be better looking downfield when the play breaks down. If you watch GB and Rodgers, how those receivers constantly move to get open when a play breaks down. 

Many times he has time to throw but the routes are horrendous for the play call and time he has to throw it. The OC Outten isn't that good, good flow starts with his play calling and when plays are not executed because of better defense, change it up. However, Denver can run at will vs opponents this season, not sure why he can't get Wilson involved in a higher percentage passing plays.

The receivers are ass plus they can't protect him. I'm surprised he hasn't gone full Brady by now 

I can't believe the excuses for Russ..He gets paid $40+ Million a year...You have to elevate your team when it gets bad..Why TF did the Broncos trade for him?
