I'm not complaining here as I had GB +2.5 1st, OV 21.5 1st, OV 41 game and ARZ -4 2nd, but what the f is whisenhunt doing going for 2 after your team comes from 28 down in the second. I know it is GB and normally a 2pt conversion makes/breaks the game. But really. kick the extra point and take GB to OT and give your team some confidence. Bad call IMO. Lucky to get 8 wins this year again in that shit conference

That is also why Green Bay went for two after the offsides penalty, Green Bay would either go up 9 or stay up 7 enabling Arizona to go for 2 and the win after a touchdown. There you go...and most importanly, NO Overtime

I completey agree but when a defense gives up 4TD in the 2nd half and your offense has been sputtering up until now that gets thrown out the window. It is week 3, I treat this a game 1a. Normal circumstance no but in this game you absolutely kick the extra point and play on. No doubt he didn't lose his team on this call but no way this team gets 9 wins this year. They will quit on him

ok so if you do that and go into OT and someone comes clean and takes out Leinart for the rest of the year or an offensive lineman tears his knee up, was it really worth it? I mean it's a meaningless game and counts for nothing but maybe some confidence. Like Jake said you don't want it to go to OT, you want to get out with as few injuries as possible and glad you got to work on things at game speed.

I agree. It is already in committee to allow ties in pre-season. a no-brainer imo. The TD by GB is a moot point it was after they were outscored by 4 straight TD's. In that case you go for the 2. It needs to be said that I think Warner sux. Leinhart was lighting it up, he's owes it to his team to play it like a regular season game and see what the outcome is.  What I am saying is a comeback by the margin it was (and I agree with the no OT unwritten rule) there is absolutely no question you kick the extra point and let the game determine itself.

I agree, as a bettor my feeling is if you go for an onside kick you are trying to win the game. And if there is overtime you pull Leinart and the valuable players and throw in the practice squad guys. If one of them goes down, no one gives it a second thought. You're already out there trying to win with onside kicks, and there would be no harm in overtime playing with your practice squad. And also I know it's preseason and he was playing against future grocery baggers, but Leinart threw for 360 in one half of football....Preseason, 4th string, prevent defense or not, that is amazing......
