 THE WHOLE SITUATION IS PURE BULLSHIT!  Simpson murders and gets nothing....Stallworth kills a dude and gets 30 days.....Ray Lewis murders a guy and gets nothing....Jason Williams kills his limo driver and gets nothing....Leonard Little gets drunk and slams into another car killing someone and gets 4 months....Ruben Patterson rapes a women and serves 15 days....Craig MacTavish kills someone while driving drunk and gets 1 year...
 
Plexico goes out one night and shoots himself in the leg and gets 2 years....WTF

I dont think he should have to go to prison for 2 years for that crime but there are so many examples of him being a dick in the past that it's hard to feel too sorry for him.

What a waste of Justice, I man with many problems, but a person with a family.  He should have just gotten drunk and killed someone, Then only 30 days...WTF  This is by far a travesty of how our judicial system works. And why it Sucks.

This is what happens when politicians create laws with MANDATORY SENTENCES.

They win votes for being "tough on crime", but in reality it's wasteful and has too many unintended consequences. How can anyone determine a sentence without ever hearing the facts of the case???  Every case should be judged on it's own merits.

Stupid laws - created by stupid politicians - elected by stupid citizens. God bless america.

completely agree, no justice at all.  Laws are beyond messed up in NY.  How many scumbags like Leyritz and Little who deserve the death penalty imo get off for far worse crimes.  The  justice system as corrupt and inefficient as there is...it always will be.

the dude's gonna be kept in solitary for the most part just to protect him.  He is nothing but a target in any system med or max security and he will have a tough time no doubt about it. 20 months will feel like 10 years.  Really sucks for him.  Call him stupid for not knowing the stupid law... but jail time??  Nice to see the tax $$ spent wisely...idiot politicians
