This is unbelievable how many people come on here or cheer for this man to lose the posted bets. In the few years I have been on Covers I have never seen anyone like him and he might not win em all but he damn sure wins enough to respect this man record. Dead beats need to be cool, stop track this guy hands down he is very good. Keep up the good work and confidence Phixer. The rest of you clowns that stay drools over his loses, bet or leave em but shut the f up.

I find it funny how these idiots come on this particular thread and start talking trash. If you don't like losing money then don't bet. It's called gambling for a reason. I've been reading Phixer's post for most of the season and yeah he's been wrong on some of his picks. But hey that's life. You can't be right all the time. Phixer keep doing what you do man. ????

I don't understand the hated either. There really are a large handful of people that sit around hoping the guy loses and I don't understand that. Isn't the point of this website for gamblers to sort of come together, share information, and help each other pick up some extra spending money?? I really don't understand why people would root AGAINST anyone on this site unless we are dealing with a real troll who comes on here to annoy everyone.
A couple months ago, I took offense to something Phixer said. Something along the lines of the NFL being staged like the WWE and the majority of games are predetermined, etc etc. I went on a few rants as I truly truly believe that is BS, and IMO that is a slap in the face of guys who really do their homework, bet properly and disciplined, and grind out a profit over the long haul. To dismiss those guys, and say everything is rigged IMO is ludicrous, and I said my piece. But after it was over with?? I wish the man luck like everyone else who is not a total weirdo or troll, and I hope he does his thing and picks up a buck and helps others who tail him.
I really can't understand the blind hate to the point where they hope he loses. The man had a profitable season picking up 5 units and he is up another 2-3 units I believe so far in the playoffs. He's not down loads of money. He's not in a some hole and adding units to where its now Monopoly money like a Joe Bren Sports or Prime Time Boys. He's not spamming the site with nonsense like a few guys do here on a regular basis(man there's 4-5 guys on here that make me want to vomit reading their nonsense and sadly there's young posters on this site that read crap like that and I sincerely hope a young mind don't buy into some of that BS). Idk, I forget what my point was. Its easy to get lost when posting from a cell phone. Bottom line, I just don't get the weird and blind hated to a total stranger on a gambling forum whose purpose it for bettors to get together and share information to make money. This isn't a TV site where Walking Dead fans fight with True Blood fans. This isn't a gaming site where the nerds spend 24-7 arguing over whether PS4 or Xbox 1 is better or why call or duty sucks. This is a site for MEN to help each other MAKE MONEY. SMFH

as far as the game that was - i think more than the niners won it - carolina lost it. i am staying with my assumptions about refereeing. now the fact is that both the second half spread and the game spread lost so obviously i was wrong.

Phixer, what are your assumptions about refereeing? This is a long thread so I don't know where you discussed this but I would like to hear your take, if you don't mind repeating. My own take is this, if there is an ounce of truth to Timmy D's book about the NBA, then you can have a scenario where there are officials or refs who are company men (or do what they think their bosses would want them to do, e.g., make sure the Lakers make the playoffs, as they did last year, through some fishy officiating ) and also rogue officials representing their own interests and/or those of syndicates, wise guys, etc... In turn, you could have a situation where one refs is pulling for one kind of outcome and the other another; which would kind of funny, if we weren't betting on these games!

It seems like they all come down to the wire at least as far as the spread goes. I dont even watch the games just use the numbers and trends like stock market and check the ticker or my account the next day. When I do watch it will be final 3 minutes of a half and final 4 of the end of the game. I love placing a bet on NFL and watching the game. I hate placing a bet in basketball and watching it for some reason....If you can track a conference or a team in your region in College Bball that really helps. Books have to put out a line on a lot of games so they are not always sharp lines..... Home Court underdogs on a college BBALL Saturday have a good winning % over the years. Also like to take home team in the first half as they come out fired up ready to play in front of the home crowd. There is no argument on the subject of refs being crooked and effecting the game. Tim Donahue makes the accusations of reffing that you have made a given....I am sure there will be people say...That is one bad apple....or that is not reality....Wake up folks it is a reality he is just one that admitted it or was forced to admit it.
