Michael Turner is a big man; as is Jason Snelling. Second week in a row the opposing RB is listed at heavier than the Philly 3 starting linebackers

i'm shocked to see the falcons at +2 especially coming off the terrible loss last week

Falcons secondary sucks.  Vick will tear that defense apart.  If the Eagles get a lead, Ryan will get into a lot of trouble trying to throw against Philly&#x27;s secondary.

The Falcons D are a different animal at home. There&#x27;s alot of hyped on the Eagles this off-season with all their new additions. But how are the chemistry? Tim will tell...I&#x27;ll say this right now, I&#x27;ll take the Falcons as a dawg in their backyard against anyone in the NFL.

as an eagles fan i think the safest play is the over, despite it being high...eagles did a good job defending bradford and the rams pass attack but like years past, the run defense looks awful once again...on the other hand, if the falcons dont have a good pass rush this week, vick will obliterate them wit his legs or by throwing 60 yd bombs to jackson...should be an enteraining game wit plenty of fireworks...thinking 35-31 final score wit hopefully the eagles winning

this will be a very emotional game for vick i believe he try&#x27;s a little to hard and trys to make things happen by himself , that will disrupt the offense and lead to mistakes , the falcons will be very motivated for this game after the beat down they received last sunday , atl coach mike schidmt is 0 and 3 in his career vs philly , i think he get&#x27;s his 1st win sunday night.

IF im correct i think Eagles OWN falcons @ atalanta and at HOME save for one losss in 05 when eagles where superbowl losers !
Eagles O lins is all NEW and hasnt been tested YET if Vick keeps running 16 times per game for 100 yards it's going to be a fast trip to IR list for him

Bears put a lot of pressure on Ryan, rushing only 4 guys. He was sacked 5 times on Sunday, after being sacked only 22 times last season. Not sure if CHI DL is that good, or ATL OL is that shaky? Probably a combination of both. Falcons OL needs to protect Ryan a lot better to beat the Eagles. .

Hey guys, die hard Eagles fan here. What I can tell you is the point made earlier about SJax is 100% accurate. If he does not get hurt, he may rush for 175+. Turner is a better back and will destroy the Eagles run D and has a chance to hit 200 yds!

Also, with my money on the line, I will always put my money on Matt Ryan at home getting points (You will win 20 out of 22 times ;-)

Here are some numbers:

Ryan at home: 20-2 with a 96.5 Passer rating, 32TD/12INT, 64.9 compl. %

Ryan vs Eagles: 0-2, (27-14 @ LFF) and (31-17 @ LFF). Passer rating of 73.2 with a 53.5 comp. %.

Falcons win if: They control TOP and do not have to abandon run

Eagles win if they do not make offensive mistakes and put pressure on Ryan and take him out of his comfort zone.

Either way it is a close game so the falcons getting points is the safer beat (I would 100% take it in a tease)

Atlanta was my super bowl pick last season until they were exposed by the packers. I also did not think the Falcons would get their ass handed to them last week by the bears. The Eagles were not that impressive vs the Rams either. Anyways, the falcons will be fired up, its a sunday night game, and they are a different animal at home. I feel that the falcons won&#x27;t be able to stop the eagles down the stretch. It will be a tight game, but I like the eagles -2.5. All it takes is a game winning field goal and it&#x27;s a wrap. Now if this game were Eagles -3.5 or -4, I would possibly be thinking otherwise. Either way, BOL

If they stack the box, ryan will play pitch and catch with his rec. corps, even vs this talented secondary. Do not forget, R. WHITE J. JONES +

T. GONZALEZ is as good a trio as any in the league.

The difference in this game will be the eagles inability to stop the falcons off. esp. the run and that will open up many big plays through play action vs a QB who is fantastic at home esp. in the hyped up state he and his team are in right now after last week and having to face the next 2 games on the road.

Jacksons injury had little to do with the outcome of this game. The more important impact was the Rams dropped balls inside the 20 yard line. The game would have been much closer if they didnt shot themselves in the foot multiple times. Bradford played awful along with the receivers.

As an eagles fan I want Phi to win but wont be betting them this week. Pretty confident that ATL and the points is the play in this one. It would take Philly playing a GREAT game to get the win here. I just dont think they are capable this early in the season with so many 'new parts' to their team

The whole world is sooooo positive that the Falcons are going to run it down the Eagles throats.......we'll see, maybe they will

I'm pretty sure that is their only chance to win, with running and controlling the clock.........Atlanta's passing attack is dink and dunk......there won't be big passing plays from this group, especially against the Eagles DBs

On the other hand, I think the Eagles will have huge big play opportunities here, and they will sure need them to win

IF and IF, the Eagles were to get a double digit lead, it could be ugly for Atlanta, as it appears the Eagles will and can get to the QB and Atlanta's O-line looked more than willing to let the Bears get to Ryan

I'm an Eagles fan, so maybe I am biased......but Atlanta is awesome at home......they have everything to lose, at home and staring at 0-2....On Primetime..........AND THEY ARE THE DOG HERE?......I know the Eagles are a little overhyped, but weren't the Falcons the 3rd of 4th choice in the NFC pre-season?

I don't think this is an easy game to predict, and if it wasn't the Sunday night game, I wouldn't lay money either way
