 DO YA HAVE A KNACK FOR PICKING OUTRIGHT WINNERS IN THE NFL ???..... THIS IS YOUR NFL P.D.M. ( POINTS DON'T MATER )  MID SEASON UPDATE : JUST PICK THE WINNER OF GAMES STRAIGHT UP AND BET THEM !! ....DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE POINTS, WORRY ABOUT COUNTING YOUR WINNINGS !!. AND FOR ANYONE WONDERING IF THIS IS SOMETHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY... IT IS NOT ! LIKE THIS YEAR IN YEAR OUT AND HAS BEEN FOR YEARS. 
(  Last year NFL regular season : 256 - 41 - 9.   Points factored into only 41 games. )

wonder how many of those points mattering cases had a DoubleDigit+ spread

Good sir, if you would be so kind... What is a good spot to find old spreads and scores?? One tidy spot or alot of jumping around between sites... Thanks again

This site is fairly good for the closing point spread ( it will be close ) and who covered in past years,  G.L. to you.

DonBest website keeps both opening and closing #'s for the top 12 books I think, I've been tracking it since your first thread Iceman, to answer that double digit question:

wk1 Oak+10 & Buf +10

 wk2 NYJ+11

 wk3 Ind+10.5 SU win, Sea -19.5, Den -15.5

wk4 Den -12.5

wk5 G.B.-10, Stl -11.5, NYJ+10

wk6 Jax+26.5, Ten+13.5

wk7 G.B.-10

wk8 S.F.-16, N.O.-11,Den-11.5,Stl+13.5

17 DD spreads, Fav covered 9, dawg covered 8, SU dawg winner 1

G.B. has done it twice, with another chance on Monday, Cowboys and Seahawks others w/ DD spreads

Iceman is right though, you just have to pick the winner most of the time, but the dawgs are winning their fair share of games this yr

Thanks for that info. If you have a strong feeling about a short lined dog you may want to consider playing them on money line being the points rarely figure into outcome anyway.

  More than anything, use this info is a tool to be used but not an "across the board law"  If your thinking of taking a dog in the NFL, first ask yourself "do I think they have a strong shot to win this game ?" ...If the answer is no, maybe best to lay off. If answer is yes, maybe check the ML number and decide if I'm going to bet it all ML or "sprinkle" a bit. Again, this is just something to consider about when looking at lines and if you have a strong feel for a team in a matchup. G.L. to all.
