LOL! I'll put it to you like this...if I was named GM of an NFL team for one season and I was told I could get any QB I wanted, I would honestly take ALL 13 guys I put ahead of Roethlisberger. He's not that good, he's not a good QB. You people are abolutely clueless, dumb, and obviously blind. And on top of that, you don't know shit about football! "Oh but he won the Super Bowl, he's the best, blah blah blah"...the 13 guys I listed ahead of him and most of, if not all of the guys I listed behind him could've won the title if they quarterbacked THAT team led by THAT defense. He is replacable, you could put plenty of QB's on that team and they would win. They DO NOT win because of him, PERIOD! Think of it like this, put Warner on the Steelers and Roethlisberger on the Cardinals...what do you think would happen? Well, the Cardlinals would suck balls and the Steelers would have been waaaaaaaaay more impressive all season long with Warner! Wake up and smell the coffee Steelers homers...lay off that STEELER KOOL-ADE!

You're right stupid. He only led the game winning drive at Baltimore to win the division.

Seriously, could you be any dumber?

He has 20 career come from behind game winning drives, including the winning touchdown pass in SuperBowl 43.

you people are abolutely clueless, dumb, and obviously blind

    No, clown, you are projecting.

I know what you are saying, that's why I said you are fuking clueless.  Ranking 13 QB's ahead of a QB who is the youngest to win a Championship, has 2 total, and has acareer QB rating of 89.6, is about the dumbest thing a person could do.  Top it all off with you actually reiterating about how sure you are of your dog sht list, makes you look even more fuking stupid.

I hate stepping into other peoples arguments on here but you both are somewhere in the middle of the correct answer. Ben is a clutch quarterback, not a great quarterback. He has the good fortune of being on an awesome team. It's honestly impossible to rank quarterbacks in the NFL. Brady was thought of much like Ben until he got an amazing offensive line. Now hes the greatest of all time. You could probably put 13 other quarterbacks on Pittsburgh and they would win the superbowl. In no way does that discount what hes done, but to say hes one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL b/c he has the best supporting cast is ridiculous too. Truth is he doesnt really care, I'm sure he enjoys not having to be the best and still winning championships. I do think if you place him on a horrible team he would struggle immensely

Steelers fans would be talking about them on here but people bash the Super Bowl winning qb who led the winning drive for his team.   Any other qb woulda been sacked numerous times in that game but he gets away and makes plays.

Anyone convince me or at least make a good argument that:

Brees, Rivers, McNabb, Romo, Warner, Eli, Palmer (not to mention the standard Manning/Brady duo)

DO NOT win the Super Bowl yesterday if wearing a Steelers uniform.

Obviously BB played on a level never seen before in the history of the sport. I mean he had ONE td pass. Are you serious that because he can scramble he walks on water. I can't believe how one ridiculous statement can always be trumped by another on these blogs. For starters McNabb is elusive too (so what). Steeler fans have this in common: No matter how things turn out they always have to exaggerate everything and expect everyone else to bow down to them. The fact is your #1 defense blew a 13 pt lead and you barely won the game. Now, you won the superbowl - congratulations, what's the point of this claim?

Brees - Maybe, but he has shown he will make a boneheaded play, he is nothing better than a maybe.

Rivers - I think he could of led that 4th quarter drive and played well enough throughout the game to win a Championship.

Warner - He showed he could and has proven he could.  Would Ben of made that awful decision on the goal line though?  Probably not.

Eli - Perhaps, he is a Champion.

Palmer - Who knows, the guy has had 2 good years in the league, not going to put him ahead of someone who has proven he can win in this league.  Don't think Plamer would command any respect in the huddle, nothing like Ben.

McNabb and Romo?  Get the fuk outta here.  McNabb would of made bad throws, he has proven he would just 2 weeks earlier.  Romo?  The guy has done what now?  Led what?  Played great when?

Ben-8 years, Mendenhall-5years, Sweed-4years, Farrior-5year extension through 2012, Aaron Smith-signed through 2011, Woodley, Holmes, Ike and Mewelde Moore both have 2 years left, Polamalu through 2011 along with Kendall Simmons and Lawrence Timmons.  Please don't come at me with your shit because you obviously did no research before making your comment and you don't know how the Steelers organization works.  They will keep getting players through the draft and resign the right players.
