Alright fellas I want to first off welcome you all to a new football season the greatest time of the year. I usually do well on the JETS games so I am going to post my plays and any info I come up with/get I will post in a weekly thread. I started last year but I gave up posting because it was too time consuming. I am going to stick it out this year no matter what!

So the JETS have been really busy this year adding key players. First I want to touch on their key additions. I really don't think they missed with any of their FA pickups. Letting Kerry Rhodes go was actually my favorite acquistion haha.

Ladainian... He is looking like he got that burst back so far in the preseason. If he stays healthy I believe the JETS ground attack will be even better with the addition of LT and the subtraction on TJ. I give this move a B for the time being but it could easily turn into an A.

Cromartie... This move I only give a C. He has shown glimpses of being good this preseason but he also has dropped a few sure picks. I think that is how you sum him up "inconsistent" but I hope he proves me wrong.

Taylor... This pick up I actually loved I know that sounds funny coming from a JETS fan but we need to pressure the QB and I think this is the guy to do it. This I give a B+ especially now that PACE is out 4-6 but we are going to sign ADAILUS eventually.

Holmes.... Best pick up of them all. We needed a go to guy and we got one. A SUPER BOWL MVP for a 5th rounder. The steelers and their high morals gave the JETS the steal of the offseason. This is an A hands down.

Pool... This one I'm Ho-hum on he has the talent but we need to see him become dynamic. This is a C- till proven otherwise. Getting rid of Rhodes however is an A+++!!!!

The OLINE will be just as good if not better Slauson has been OK in the preseason but I expect him to get better as he goes but he will eventually give way to the draft pick Ducasse next season.

Defensively I fully expect this team to be the number 1 defense in the league again and be even better than last year and yes that is without REVIS. I will touch up on him in a minute.

Folk... This one I give a D to. Feely was consistent I don't understand dumping him at all. Folk does have a better leg and has done pretty good in the preseason so hopefully he was just injured last year and he is better than he showed.

Draft Picks

Wilson.... Steal!!! couldn't believe he fell to us here. I was amazed the browns took HADEN over him. This guy will be a stud. This is an A.

Ducasse... ???? Don't get that pick but maybe they see something that they can turn this guy into. JETS OLINE COACH is the best in the game so he knows better than us. This is a C- till we see what potential this guy has.

Conner... He is looking like a great pick more and more. I know FB's arent huge in the NFL but the JETS use and NEED one. I think this kid will turn out to be a great FB in the NFL and have a longggg career. This is a B+

Mcknight.... Out of shape. Throwing up everywhere. Can't run for shit. But man can he return punts. Can't kill them for the pick because he will play and be useful to us but I still give them a D on this one.

Overall I think the JETS have improved tremendously from last year. There are two ? that may hold this team back. 1 is SANCHEZ 2 is REVIS. The first I don't see having a sophmore slump but if he does this team will be lucky to win 6 games... QB is by far the most important position in the game so for us JETS fans in SANCHEZ we will have to trust!

Now for REVIS. I get where he is coming from but COME ON MAN you held out for your contract when you were drafted now you don't like it so you hold out again. What does that say about your character? Mangold didn't hold out and what happened he got rewarded. The JETS are now punishing REVIS. He is SIGNED for 3 seasons including this one. What is he going to do hold out for 3 seasons and never make big money? This guy will eventually sign but for nowhere near the amount he thinks he's going to get. Stop being selfish and punishing your team-mates and fans and get your ass to practice. It is not our fault you signed your original contract and now don't like it. It is not our fault you turned down 12.4 mil per year cause that wasn't enough. I hope the JETS don't give in cause I don't think they will and REVIS is GREAT but he is being ridiculous. Hopefully he signs cause he will make us that much better but we are GOOD without him. If the JETS get off to a HOT start REVIS will be back in the blink of an eye.

Alright guys got to go for but I will be back with more info as we get closer and closer to that MONDAY NIGHT OPENER!!!
