The Giants beat the 49ers in january 1990 when the Niners were 2 time defending champions. The Giants won the Super Bowl that year.

People teams that beat the defending champs in the playoffs never won straight up the next playoff game. Seattle beat saints following game lost to Chicago. Ny back in 09 playoffs were defending champs then lost to Philly who then lost to Arizona following game. Read statement carefully.

I also have a 14-1 system play favoring the 49ers in this game as well..........my friend went through 2 weeks of stuff to find it & he doesnt want me posting it but i did go back & check & its 100% valid dating back to 1993...........its an awesome system as well.....................

It doesn't matter because this perceived "system" doesn't mean anything. The numbers are statsitically insignificant. The reason so few teams knock out the defending champion and win the following round unless its the Super Bowl is because to qualify for such a game means fitting such narrow criteria as it is.

A sample size of 30 is needed for any statistic to be meaningful. Anyone who has any background in statistics can vouch for this. Why is the board flooded with this nonsense tonight?

Dude, you're the one that kept pounding the Colts week & after week with your systems & trends & lost his ass that entire month............systems & trends are just information, you take it for what its worth..........you can accept it or deny it, no bog deal to any of us..............I for one love having a system like the one above, especially when I like the 49ers.............

I had 4 systems favoring the 49ers vs the Saints & I had 1 big system against the Saints...........& guess what, the 49ers won & covered & you still went against your team because of your capping abilities & throwing out any trends or systems?
