We should give Daniel Jones 40M a season and franchise Saquon. After tonight's performance how could we not? /sarcasm
Pay these bums
DJ deserves $30-32 million a year but yea def not Dak money. He did pretty well with the WORST receiving core of any playoff team. As a Giants fan I think DJ is a good fit still. When you have a receiver getting paid $18 million a year, but is too shit to start... you put your QB in a terrible spot.
Saquan on the other hand... No rb is worth their second 'payday' deal imo these days... Gurley was a prime example... These rookie contracts REALLY screw over running backs. They have their best years when they get paid zilch so teams are incentivized to just cut them and get fresh blood with a draft pick and cheap contract... It sucks cuz I really like Saquan.. but this is just the nature of the league... these running backs really should be exempt from the rookie contract cap..
