1) I don't think he would be on a top 10 receivers list which this is now that makes sense right....

2) I have probably told this 100 times already even though brady is a good guy the game of QB today is alot easier and if brady played back in the day he would get murdered so there is no way he can be on a top 10 all-time list....Now with that being said he would a top 10 QB for the new century as of now from the years 2000-2007 tom brady is a top 10 QB but not all-time QB......

After the smallish type wr's of the 80's ("the smurphs, Miami" & "the fun bunch, Redskins")  Michael Irvin reopened the door for the big physical type wr's for the 90's.     Maybe not top 10, but pretty damn close.   His numbers are not so great due to the fact he played with Emmitt and Troy, plus they we're usaully ahead so they did'nt need to play catch-up.

Two different WRs.  Irvin had the playmaking ability to make the 60 yd catch and Carter had the hands that moved the chains (and catch TDs)

to say the game is easier today is a slap in the face to every player playing today. maybe the qb position because of all the rule changes but im pretty sure its still hell in the trenches. i think you would have been a great addition to the bear superfan skits on snl payton.

its easier for wide receiver and QB  , physically  15 yeqrs ago those positions got their ass kicked,  ask Jack Tatum,    Lynn Swann   or Terry Bradshaw

yeah the skill positions. but payton is making his judgments on some of his picks just because they had it "harder" than todays guys. just because a guy is tough doesn't mean he should be considered one of the greatest. for god sakes he says tom brady isn't one of the best ever because he has it easy and that my friend is bull shit. i dont like the pats but give credit where credit is due.
