No Respect for the Bears?

Yep, the Bears blow and I cannot wait to bet against this gutless team in the playoffs. I loved how the Patriots carved them up at home.

too bad everyone in this thread is right and wrong. the bears are awesome and horrendous from game to game and even from quarter to quarter. sometimes watching them makes me cringe and sometimes it makes me jump up and shout. i appreciate every victory and enjoy it. i am a huge fan and never dare to bet them.

Check your records boy 30th 30th 30th.....Bears and offense dont go together....Ya'll played a weak schedule...Lost to some weak teams......got lucky in a couple.. Ya'll  a solid now I said solid 9-7 team.  Hester makes you solid..You put up close to a total of 300 YDS a game on offense I know cuz I looked....Ya'll prone to the pass on "D" 17th or 18th against a weak schedule...Look at you schedule boy.....Boy thats  EASY....Have Ya'll went on the road and played anybody? The only thing you can do well is stop the run. Your average team does not accumulate 11 wins...The Bears have  been so so lucky all season long and without Hester Ya'll would be a solid 8-8 team.......You will see in the play-offs boy.........Someone will come in and pass the ball all over the field like Matt Hassleback did to Ya'll and you will be done done done in one one one ...Dummy

You mean like how the Bears had 322 yards against the Jets but turned it into FIVE TOUCHDOWNS.  I guess the offense can't get yards when special teams is always putting them so damned close to the other endzone.  Man, that's terrible, they must suck.  And that terrible Bears offense only had 293 yards against the Vikings?  Shame on them.  Never mind that they scored 40 points.  Basic stats are for simple minded folk. 

You my stats are basic and I'm simple folk because I suprised you with the fact that ya"ll  Bears are statistically 30th ranked on offense so far this here season bro....C'mon now....back to earth....Everybody would agree that stats for 2 games dont outweigh the stats form the prior 13 games. I knows you excited about how Jay Cutler throwing that ball the last 2 games...I know you think special teams return squad hurts your offensive  yds output but they still ranked 18th overall in points scored...Ol boy Desmond Howard gave the Pack the Ball between the 40's almost every possesion back when and Favre still threw for over 4000 and Pack was 2nd in offense...We can argue bout dis for awhile but I will tell you the truth right now.  Bears passing:bad to avarage. Bears rushing: Bad....Bears Pass defense: bad to average. Bears rush defense: very good Bears Special teams: Best in NFL....Bears schedule: Very weak....This team is not automatically goi8ng to play like they did in their last 2 games, Need I remind you they lost 2 games in a row at home against Seattle and Washington....I am not sayin they bad because of that but they not great either because they played well against the Jets and Vikes recently....This is just a team who played an easy schedule, caught some breaks, who are inconsistent. Play good at times, play terrible at times.....I know every team in the play-offs would rather play the Bears than play G.B. NYG or Philly who all have less wins.

That what Im talking about. Stats are how you rate teams not the score of a couple games in a couple weeks. You Gotsta look at the whole picture boy. That offense will fall apart on Sunday I mean fall apart. starters and backups alike. MikeMed gots it rite and nstop using my lingo boy hye was tallkin bout my numbers. I gets the facts. Heres 1 more four you Bear offensive lovers, Bears average only 193 pass yds a game and the pass D give up 293yds Plus they cant run the ball boy. one and done boy one and done.

and you KNOW this how?  Most people seem to think da Bears are mailing it in this week, and I suppose they just may...

Teams in a Must Win usually do not do that well.

The Green Bay Packers are not the New England Patriots. They make too many stupid mistakes to beat good teams by double digits. Statistics do not do the Bears justice; they have been operating a bend-but-dont-break defense all year, which is exactly the type of defense that gives the Packers trouble. The Bears do not give up yards on the ground easily, especially in the Red Zone. The Packers do not have a running back that consistently gets those tough yards in the red zone. They will be settling for field goals. The Packers will be lucky to score 20 points.  The Bears might lose, but they will cover a generous double digit spread.

If the Bears are so lucky, why would anybody back the Pack and lay 10 points?   How does one know when the Bears luck has run out?   

STATS?!  Bears have lost 1 game since bye week, it was to the best offense in football in a not so lucky 1st half for the bears the pats capitalized on turnovers. Bears d held them to 3 pts in the 2nd half. Bears are playing really good football of late the o line is meshing well, ground game is pounding the ball, cutler and receivers are connecting, defense has been one of the best in league all year especially with timely takeaways, and the BEST special teams in the league with the ability to score on every return and by far the best field position!  playoffs are about who can go out and play the whole game in all phases and win a few different ways while a little luck is on ur side!!  What worked out better stats or luck in the pats giants super bowl?!  

Bears get a 1st round BYE so they wont be out in the 1st round
