College YTD (6-1 +7.90 units) NFL YTD (0-0 +0.00 units)
Well, I had a good first week in the college game and I am hoping to carry that over to the pro's this week.
First locked in play:
Houston -8 -110 (2 units) Eventually Houston is going to get things figured out on both sides of the ball. While I am not a huge fan of Kubiak, I am a fan of Wade Phillips as a defensive coordinator and feel like they have the talent to finally make a push at winning this division this year. Add-in the fact that Manning is doubtful for week one and the fact that the game is in Houston, and to me this looks like a blow out in the making. I just don't think Collins will be able to effectively move the ball. I will go ahead and say 34-17 Houston.

Baltimore -2.5 -110 (1 unit) This should be a great opening week game between two conference rivals. With that said, my main reason for playing this game is that Super Bowl losers typically struggle in week one and I am going to go ahead and continue going with that trend in this one.

Agree on play one...tough gm to bet imo with that 2nd play. The Steelers aren't your average Super Bowl losers and this rivalry had the Steelers thinking about this game a long time ago. I'm a Baltimore fan but I can't and won't try to predict a winner in this one. GL with your week

Green Bay/New Orleans o47 -117 (1 unit) This game is the highest total on the board and in my opinion, for good reason. First off, New Orleans is going without their best pass rusher, Will Smith. Add-in the fact that the Saint defense hasn't looked great during the preseason and I expect Aaron Rodgers to have a big game. Meanwhile, Drew Brees won't have quite the success of Rodgers, but he should still be able to put some points up. I expect both teams to get into the 20's with the winner likely in the low 30's. I am expecting a 30-24 type game.

Train Tough call. I might be a little bit jaded by all the local guys in Houston talking about how focused the Texans are. We'll see.
Is Arian 100%?Is his hammy healed? The Colts are definately gonna try and play keep away with short passes and lots of running....question is can the Indy secondary contain the Hou wrs??

I am actually not real concerned about Arian. Of course I would love for him to play as he is a dynamic back. But, I suspect Tate could come in for one game and play relatively well.

NE/Mia u45.5 -110 (2 units) I really think Miami is going to chew up the clock with their running game to keep this one close. I feel like it is there best shot to win and as a result, I think they will eat up a lot of time resulting in less plays and less possessions. New England has a good offense, but given the circumstances, I just think this is too many points.
