Lions VS Jets: Quite honestly I have already had a few back and forth arguments/opinions of this game... You can call the Jets play a "square" play "public" play, call it whatever you want... These people who bet strictly against what they perceive as a "public" or "square" play think they are sharps and know something else that others don't... Well here are the facts for these undoubtedly way more intelligent people... The Lion are beyond over-va;ued in every sense of the word... A team that is going up against a far superior football team... At team who granted played HORRIBLE last week on offense... guess what it was a bad game period... The Lions defense is ranked in the bottom tier of the NFL... They give up over 4.8 yards per rush and over 130 yds per game... Now they have to face the Jets offensive line and the 3rd ranked rushing team in the NFL averaging over 150 yds per game and over 4.8 yards per rush...The Lions will be destroyed in the trenches... the jets are not a passing team in any way, but when they run the ball successfully they are almost impossible to beat because they are successful on play action...Detroit gives up a ton of yards... Now lets go to Detroits offense... They are the 3rd WORST rushing team in the NFL... Javid best averaging 3 yards per rush... Stafford and their passing numbers are not impressive especially when you put things in perspective...You think the 3rd worst rushing team in the NFL is going to have success against the Jets defense? Stafford is not going to know what the fuck is going on when th eJets Blitz from every angle because they can and because Detroit can't rush and are horrible on the O-Line... P.S. Stafford average yards per throw is I believe 4.7... I also believe that puts them in the bottom 2 in the NFL in that category... Listen you want to bet the Lions go ahead... i won't even get into the player match-ups thats a whole other story...Plain and simple the Jets win this game by 2 to 3 Touchdowns... You want to over think it and take the over-valued Lions go ahead

Looks very solid. I'm leaning Jets but am over thinking this when I don't think I should. The low line has me puzzled....I believe it is due to books finally giving respect to the Lions but when you look at this match up on paper, I don't see how Jets don't cover 4. Nice write up and GL buddy

FINAL CARD: I really like this weeks card as you can see so I'm betting more games than usual, not recommended, but if I like them I'm going to play it, risking a lot o funits this week looking for a nice pay out... BOL

Im cautiously leaning Jets right now but this game is not a sure bet by any means.. The GB defense gives up 124 yards on the ground also but where did that get the Jets ? no where really.. That stadium will be rocking Sunday and hopefully the Jets get off to a good start, if the game is close and the Lions are in it, then watch out because that team is very risilient. They lost some tough games all year, nearly won in GB (I understand almost doesnt count but they dont get blown out) Still thinking about it. Good luck with your play.

Seattle VS Giants: I'm 4 - 1 on Giants plays this year and am over cautious when going over the game because I'm a huge Giants fan... So you can call this play a homer or biased that is fine I understand but I look for more reasons to not bet the Giants than I do to bet them... With that said I think the Giants are the best team in the NFC right now... Will that continue the rest of the year, who knows, but it certainly won't change this week...The Giants are #2 in defense and #3 in offense playing a far inferior football team laying less than a TD... This line will be damn near close to 8 or 9 by kick off IMO... Seattle is a bad football team and have one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL... Going up against the Giants rushing and play action deep attack that's not good news for Seattle... Seattle is arguably one of the worst offenses in the NFL... they can't run and they can't pass and they have no threats anywhere on the field... The Giants pass rush and Secondary is going to be overwhelming for Seattle, and their defense is going to have an extremely hard time with the Giants as well...Giants win this game by at least 17 points

Love this play. Will be on it as well. Eli has finally gotten into that rythm where he and his receivers are all on the same page and he is able to make it look very easy..

Carolina VS Saints: I honestly don't get this line and almost made this play a really large play but held back and just made it larger than average... the reason being is because the Panthers do have a relatively good defense ranking in the top tier in the NFL, But remember the Saints D is still better...i won't even get into the offensive stuff on these teams because if your are a consistent NFL better you already know Carolina has the worst offense in the NFL... I believe that getting less than a TD against a far Superior team is not enough points here...I'm probably going to be called a "square" a lot this week. I am on a lot of plays this week that I believe will be "public" plays but that doesn't scare me. I can;t base my plays based on what people perceive will be popular "public" plays or not... It's about picking the right spots.

i think ny jets cover the spread in this game. after that horrible game last week and being shut out at home after a bye week, i think they come out firing on all cylinders! defense will be stout and mark sanchez will have a great game. LT and greene will pound it to the detroit defense.

I'm noticing were on the same page a lot this year.. even down to our record (63%) I'm on the Colts, Jets, Chargers this week for my Top 3, working on getting writeups up this week... but BOL to us

Eagles VS Colts: I put a lot of time and thought into this game because when I saw the line I said Hmmmmm, why? Giving the Colts 3 points doesn't make much sense to me... One of the reasons being they will be in a lot of people's teasers.... Anyway the reason why the Colts are dogs (assuming Vick starts) is because their lack of run defense giving up almost 5 yards per rush... Now they have to face the best rushing/scrambling QB in the history of the NFL..McCoy doesn;t really bother me because he carries the ball 15 to 20 times a game and has only 1 game over 100 yards... what bothers me is Vick. So with that all being said I still like the Colts a lot, to the point where I played the ML... I think they will be able to contain Vick for the most part because they are fast on defense outside the tackles... Inside the tackles is another story... Also Peyton Manning getting points... I'm not passing that up! Colts in a close game but a victorious one I believe.

Atlanta VS Tampa: At first glance I said this line is high opening at 9 1/2 Falcons must be the play. Atlanta has one of the best rushing offenses in the NFL going up against one of the worst rushing defenses... However, Atlanta strugles EXTREMELY bad with the pass... Too much so to give anyone 9 points IMO... Their secondary kind of prevents them from blowing people out cause they seem to always give up big plays..I believe they would be an NFC power house if they had a good secondary, BUT they don't. Thats basically the reason I'm taking the points.. There is too much room for error in this game on Atlanta... can they blow out Tampa Bay? Yup... Will they? I doubt it... Tampa will have the opportunity to win this game baring no mistakes and being efficient in the Red Zone...
