I whimped out on taking the Jets to win the conference, but instead took the less risky option for someone who really likes their chances this year.....with big risks come big rewards, and alternatively my little risk will possibly bring me small reward.

Most games I chose ahead of time ended up being to my advantage....there is a risk in playing ahead of time that an injury or huge public opinion will cause you to miss out on a big line move.  That has happened twice this week,....in taking the Patriots and the Raiders I guessed wrong.

All in all though, picking the majority of these games early I got 2.5 points total points of line value despite the Patriots moving to 9.5 and me getting them at 6.  Trying to predict line movements is a waste  of time....though in the future as a dog bettor, waiting is the wise option 80% of the time with the exception of game 1.
