Finally was able to update the record fresh off another 8-1 ATS run. It's been a great year to say the least, also quite a great year hitting so many of the BIG PLAYS. It's my 5th of 6 winning seasons in the NFL over the past years with the only downturn during the Covid season. I couldn't make sense of any of those games it seemed with all the players sitting and games mid week. But we have come quite far since those days and hoping to end it with one more strong showing. Here is what I am on for the early slate:
UNDER 41.5 (ATL/NO): Not much going on here so I'm backing a pretty strong trend that sees these matchups going UNDER in 5 of the 6 in New Orleans. Add to that the Saints have played to the UNDER in 7 of 9 at home this year and I'm not sure I can see fireworks taking place today in the dome.
OVER 23 FH (MIN/DET)...BIG PLAY!!!: Both teams will be light on their feet in this affair and the Vikings have a long shot to get into the playoffs so will be going back to Mullens. With so many Lions defenders sitting, and so few on the offensive side, I just don't see how this won't get to at least 24 in the FH.
NEW ENGLAND (-2): I said to myself I was done with playing NE and this game is so ugly and will be wet and awful. I just think that the Patriots will dig down deep to give the much maligned Bellechiick a final victory in what I think will be his final game leading the Patriots. The Pats have also OWNED the Jets, especially in NE, and while both teams struggle, the TOTAL is just a tad bit low for me to play, even with these inept offenses and the rain.
TAMPA BAY (-4): Just to be clear, I hopped on this at -3 but that's not around anymore. So I am posting this at -4 b/c I'm not sure what I am missing but the Panthers are still the Panthers, a mess of an organization with little to no offense. Since the Bucs have an outside chance of getting in, they MUST win and will be playing all their guys in this one. Just playing their defensive unit is enough as I don't fathom the Panthers can put up more than 17, if even that. I have the Bucs getting 24 today so if the numbers line up, as well as the trends, this should be an easy victory.
As I said, I'll be back later with a couple more. Would love one more torrid weekend into the playoffs. As always, tail or fade, good luck to all...

Also just throwing this out there...haven't seen ONE person on the Jags today. Usually when this forum backs a specific NFL team to the degree the Titans are, it doesn't end well for that team.

what’s the reason for people backing the titans? Just opposite of Joe Public? Jags have everything to play for and titans have nothing to win here besides keeping their jobs? Jags ML maybe?

That's what I'm thinking. The Titans do in fact play the Jags tough in Tennessee but as you stated a full squad Jags team should at least sneak by the Titans.
The OVER is also a trend that sticks out in that affair but I'm not sure how much to trust Tannehill, which is the same reason I can't back the Titans.
Like why would the Titans want to win and get a worse draft pick in an already lost season

Just curious where you saw that Detroit was sitting any players on defense. I just finished reading that the Lions are treating this as regular game and Gardner-Johnson will return today one of their best CB.
Good Luck!
You learn more from losing than winning. You learn how to keep going.

Read it on an active/inactive list but that too was a short while ago so maybe you are seeing things updated. Pretty sure they will be without a few defensive linemen. Either way tbh I see this game going over the number.

Got too cute with the FH OVER in that Detroit game, they woke up 2nd half. Let's see how these all fare but looking like 1-3 morning so apologies, I understand if you aren't wanting to tail the later games too. But that's what I have...good luck to all.
