Adding Top Pick Marcel Dareus to play next to Kyle Williams will make a Huge difference in stopping the run... getting rid of washed up Marcus Stroud ......The D Line has plenty of depth ... Look for Alex Carrington to make a Big jump in his 2nd season , eventually taking Dwan Edwards Job at RE....Spencer Johnson and Torell Troup will get plenty of Burn as well...

Lots of What " if's" but the depth is there ..
Merriman appears to have been on a HGH freeroll and "IF" he stays healthy Double Digit+ sacks are coming .....Nick Barnett adds much needed speed, and is a Huge upgrade....Andra Davis and Chris Kelsay are vets and might be fighting for their jobs all season .... nice depth with Kirk Morrison ,Arthur Moats , Rookies Kelvin Sheppard and Chris White...Chris Harrington will also line up at SLB .....
Poz is one of the Most Overrated LB's ever to play the Game ... His stats Lie as most of his tackles come 7-10 yards down Field . He was often pushed around and guessed the wrong hole many times and could not cover my Grandma is pass coverage.....SO Happy he is Gone ...
Secondary Preseason Grade B-

Glad to see Donte Whitner gone ... He Gambled way too often and would get Lost in zone Coverages....
The CB's have plenty of Depth ... McKelvin and Mcgee and Drayton Florence will get plenty of PT.... and Rookies Aaron Williams & Justin Rogers will be Fighting to see the field...
The Safeties are not deep and Injuries could really Sting .... Jarius Byrd is Healthy and should be a Play-Maker.... George Wilson is solid vs the Run .. Backups Bryan Scott and Rookie Sleeper Da'Norris Searcy need to step up...
Bills Offense
Moving the Chains is the KEY.......Last year the Defense was hung out to dry the First 8 + Games.....Still were only a Stevie Johnson Dropped TD from beating the AFC Champion Steelers...
O-Line is a HUGE Concern
Avoiding Injuries goes without saying ...

Tyler Thigpen at least knows the offense , and did show some signs of life in the preaseason....
Brad Smith should be a First down Machine as the Wildcat.... Bills have a Bunch of crazy packages with him Lined up all Over the Field...

Bills Backs ran great last season considering the Holes were not often there ...
Fred Jackson never stops working ....Seems to get 4+ yards when there is nothing there....Pissed off bc he feels he is being fazed out.....C Eric Wood said Fred is fired up for every play like it's his LAST....
CJ Spiller was kept fresh last season , never over used ..74 Carries and 24 catches... Looked quicker this preaseason and admitted he was lost in the NFL at times during his rookie season..BIG Things could be on the Near Horizon....
Both Backs are really pushing each other ...
FB Corey McIntyre looks like a Mack Truck this season...Looks like he might be in Merriman's HGH Free Roll Club....
