I lost my college & NFL POY this season & it only goes to show, even when you think you cant lose, you can always lose in betting. Also, my money management skills are worthless & I dont recommend anyone following my plays based on how much I wager on them but with the beat down I took last night, I will only post my write-ups & betting edge & what side I feel will cover. No more posting how much I bet on games because it influences others on how they bet the game. I recommend betting all games evenly. Also, I would like to commend Vince Young on a great game. He burned me quite a few times his rookie season & did so Monday night. The guy is simply the x-factor on the Titans because without him, the Titans wouldnt have won the past 4 games. Defenses just dont know how to contain him & if the Texans dont beat the Colts this week, maybe the Titans will. The guy simply has a scary ton of talent & you could see it even when passing 50 yards down field while being chased out of the pocket & throwing off his back foot. Enough praising of VY & lets get on with the plays.
(Gbay -11 at Lions), Gbay had a huge lead vs the 49ers but let it slip away & I believe the Packers pushed on the clsoing spread of -6 & the Lions won their 2nd game of the season but at the expense of Stafford getting injured. Gbay being an 11 point favorite is a bit scary considering they play the Ravens the following Monday night in Gbay. Will Gbay look ahead of this Thanksgiving feast? The Packers will have 10 days of rest before playing the Ravens so I doubt they will be looking ahead. The Lions are nothing to write home about but with the injuries piling up, the Packers have a slim chance of losing this game outright. Betting edge: Packers -11, Packers in 3 team 10 point teasers & Packers ML in parlays.
(Dallas -13.5 vs Raiders), Dallas has only scored 2 td's past two games. What is wrong with their offense? The Raiders were down 0-14 early vs the Bengals & came back to win the game with help from the Bengals. I watched the whole game & the Bengals did everything in their power to give the game to Oakland & Oakland should have lost the game. The Raiders are just not a good team but they do have a pretty good defense & maybe the new qb has given them the spark they needed. The Raiders show up to play whenever they feel like it but I dont know how to gauge their new qb just yet until I see him play several games. Dallas is playing their 2nd consecutive home game & it remains to be seen if Romo shows up to play. The Raiders previously won 2 games this season & have followed that win with a blowout loss the following week, 3-23 & 0-38. Imo, Dallas will wake up from their offensive coma & put some points up. The Raiders play at Pittsburgh next week & Dallas plays at the Giants. Betting edge: Dallas in 13 point teasers (if you can get it) & Dallas ML in parlays, I dont trust Dallas laying the full 13.5 points.

tough loss last night brotha, you'll get em back.........Oakland is going to lay an egg Thursday............This line should be 17..........Watchout on the Packers game..........Divisional game giving away double digits on the road?!? Ouch........Dont forget Green Bay had two devistating injuries last game...........

Bruce: I definitely could see Dallas blowing out the Raiders but am scared to pull the trigger on -13.5. As for the Lions, they havent covered a Thanksgiving game since 2003 but they could be due I guess. I will take my chance with Rodgers against a weaker opponent, although Tampa beat the Pack so anything could happen I guess. Good luck with your plays!

Hey Prime I feel exactly the same way about Oakland... They are known for shitting the bed after a big win or any win for that matter... this isnt just this year I remember them doing it last year... It seems whenever I back the Raiders its at the wrong time and I feel after the win last week they are due for a shit the bed game where they probably wont even score any points... Now the question is how many is Dallas going to score at home on Turkey Day.... Well the line is at -14 and the public are all over Oakland +14 early so I just have to go with Dallas and the chaulk this week

(Giants -7 at Denver), Denver started the season 6-0 SU & ATS & has gone the opposite since, 0-4 SU & ATS. The Broncos are playing at KC next week & the Giants come home to play the Cowboys. The Giants havent covered a spread in 5 games & need to travel out west on a short week. The Giants need this one but so does Denver. Betting edge: None
(Colts -3 at Houston), The Colts have been winning by slightest of margins in their past 2 games, I would say they are a great team with alot of luck but when you give Manning & company some luck, its a formula for success. The Colts could have & possibly should have lost to the Patriots 2 weeks ago. Last week the Ravens shot themselves in the foot multiple times by turning the ball over & when you do that vs the Colts, there is no way you will win the game. The Texans lost Monday night to a well prepared Titans team but were the Texans looking forward to the game vs the Colts? The Texans couldnt contain Vince Young as he was having a field day out there running around. Houston will not have this headache with Manning! This is the Texans Super Bowl & it doesnt get much bigger than this game as they are trying to knock off the undefeated division leader & imo, the Texans will win this game outright! Betting edge: Texans +3 & ML

GL to you Prime. It seems when I absolutely love a game or the weekend card in general I do poorly. This week I don't really like many games...will likely go small....and likely go undefeated. It's funny how that works. Nevertheless get'em back this week.

Prime that was a very well written article and i have to say you are absolutely correct as much as you love a game you have to have money managament. I have and will be continuing to follow you on your advice and dont let one or 2 games get you down. As long as you hit 63-65% and you wager the same amount you should be ok. Can i add you to my buddy list??

Just like last week when they were -7 at home coming off a BYE playing Atlanta?
I would rather take the Giants OVER

(Bengals -14 vs Browns), The Bengals lost to the undeserving Raiders last week but that was expected after the Bengals had just beaten the Steelers & Ravens in back to back hard fought division games. The Browns came off the bye week to lay a goose egg aagainst the Ravens but decided to show up last week vs the one win Lions & actually had a huge lead half way thru the 2nd quarter just to see it fizzle away. The refs called a PI in the endzone against the Browns & put the Lions on the 1 yard line for one last play & that penalty ended up being the demise for the Browns, not like they are any good this season. Mistakes & penalties always seem to follow awful teams. Brady Quinn is starting for the 3rd time this season & if im not mistaken, these Browns lost to the Bengals by 3 points back in early October. The Browns have the Chargers & the Steelers on tap the next two weeks & the Bengals have Detroit & Minnesota. Bengals will win this game but I dont see them winning by more than 10 points. The Browns should have won that game last week but stupid penalties gave it away. The Bengals wont over look the Browns knowing every divisional win is needed. Betting edge: Browns +14, Browns in teasers & Browns in parlays.
(Vikings -10.5 vs Bears), The Vikings are flying under the radar after losing to the Steelers back in week 7 & imo, that loss is the best thing that could have happened to them. The Bears started the season at 3-1 & since coming off the bye week have gone an embarrassing 1-5. Cutler seems like he's sleep walking out on the field, he's missing every wide open receiver down field. This is a statement game for the Bears to show the world they can still compete & I believe they come out & give the Vikinsg one of their toughest games to date. The Vikings had 3 games that were very close this season & all 3 of those opponents have good defenses. Ravens beat the 49ers by 3 on a last second td by Favre, the 2nd game was the Ravens, which the Vikings won by 2 in the last seconds with a field goal & the 3rd team was the Steelers which they lost because of probably the luckiest bounce of the ball I had ever seen by one team in a game. The Bears turned the ball over 5 or more vs the 49ers two weeks ago & I dont know how many were in the redzone. Last week if it wasnt for Cutlers absurd passing abilities, they would have had the chance to beat the Eagles. Look for a hard fought & close game. Betting edge: Bears +10.5, Bears in teasers & Bears in parlays.
(Eagles -9 vs Skins), The Eagles won last weeks game but it wasnt because of the play calling by Andy Reid. It was the stupid mistakes by the Bears that gave the Eagles that win. The Eagles are sitting in 2nd place one game back of the Cowboys. The Skins have no chance at the playoffs & are probably looking into next season & how they can improve their team. Skins came off the bye losing to the Falcons by 14 & actually that game was closer than the score indicated. The Skins beat the dwindling Broncos as a homedog & played the Cowboys very tight last week almost pulling out a victory as an 11 point road dog. Like the Raiders, the Skins have a good defense but their offense lacks leadership & stability. The Skins played back to back great games & are asked to go into Philly & repeat their performance of the past two weeks with the Saints on deck next week in Washington. I see the Skins not showing up this week & planning on trying to upset the Saints in two weeks. I mean, how many physical & inspiring games can the Skins put together. I see a Philly blowout! Betting edge: Eagles -9, Eagles in 3 team 10 point teasers, Eagles in parlays.
