Dude you going way overboard now.  I drop in on Phixer to check out his NFL plays, and I like his style and he's pretty good.  I'm a college basketball guy, not an NFL guy.  From what I can see Phixer and the way he caps games is pretty good.  It's his thread, let him bet units as he pleases.  There is no one set way of gambling or managing your money.  What works for one man, might not work for another man.

To get so worked up over what somebody has posted in their own thread is a joke.  One thing that kills me is that dudes like you and some other guys that act like your some kind of gate keeper for all gamblers, trying to preach gambling "etiquette" or something.  Sit your behind down some where, and continue doing what you were doing before you came in a started bashing this man.

Go lecture somebody that needs lecturing like your kids or your nephews and nieces.

i was boxed and my threads were moved for nothing in the very near past by covers' mods. for absolutely nothing and if this is a policy by covers to support such idiocy by idiots like glyde and his siders - i wonder truly about the quality and integrity of thecovers audience who seem to be mesmerized by drama rather than the capping. i am curious to see how all this will play out.

i post what i bet. i dont ask no one permission to "jack up" my units nor care about what you think of it.

Hey Phixer.  You have some great insight! Dont listen to these guys, they are just haters, negative people.  Its just how people are these days!  I personally would never pick a game based on what others pick But like the insight helps  me breakdown the games.  If someone picks games based off soley what someone else picks thats there problem. 

The conversation devolved to an extent but actually had me pondering my own betting habits the past few years. My reasons to raise betting amounts at the end of the season...

1) make up for losses I've had
2) confidence in how the games will play out having a full season to study the teams
3) gambling high from a successful season of winning 64% and up 72 units...

don't care if you post or not because I find your analysis amusing but betting on a football game on the basis of who you think vegas or the NFL wants to win is downright child-like

look at the stats for pete's sake, how about something like taking the over in the Dallas game because the teams are 1 and 2 in passing yards per play while both teams rank in the bottom half in yards per attempt defensively

i may be naive but I don't think anyone but the coaches and players control the outcome and if i thought differently I wouldn't place a wager

Indeed Phixer, you are correct.  I am a relative new comer around here, but in the year and a half I have been visiting this site, the discourse has become more about hating on someone than the unimpeded exchange of ideas.  If I had the chops, and the time, I would put up a site where we could actually assist each other, rather than bash each other.

I checked in late on Phix thread today..I shouldnt be surprised to find all the bs,garbage,insults and idiots ranting.  What does surprise me is that Phix even posts on Covers anymore after the way he has been treated... It is obvious  his opinion and points are respected and counted on.  I understand that.  I dont understand why people act the way they do.  Phix went 3-1 last week and there were a few posts from thankful followers.  I couldnt find the thread yesterday til after games started.  For all you well educated smart people betting to much money on picks after he hits 75% you have nobody to blame for your losses but yourself.  If you had any sense at all you would have considered fading him yesterday.  And for those that played his games and lost you damned sure better have come in and then played his plays today to get your money and more back..Phix always bounces back unlike the losers that bash him.....My guess is you probably faded him today and will lose....Actually if you faded Phix today you already lost 1 bet.  Over 9.5 in 1st quarter cashed easily as the score is 7-7 with time remaining.  Instead of coming on here making fools out of yourselves why not look in the mirror. So now for some football....Why did the line on late game go from under a TD to 10 on Denver game.  I am just asking since my lady decided today would be great day to argue with me about watching football I missed the morning shows.....I cannot find a big injury or someone being out for Indy....My guess it is public money or big money that drove the drastic line movement.  Vegas line on the game had been pretty solid.  Weather is the only other factor I can think of....You have a dome team that cannot run the ball to save themselves playing outside...Indy also struggles defensively...Luck cannot win the game single handed.  This late game much different than early game.  Cowboys can run the ball even though I believe they are overrated on both sides of the ball...  One stat that matters in playoff games is 27.....First team to 27 has won over 90% of the time.....according to feeltheaction

I can't believe how bizarre this site has become. Whether it's in season or playoffs, whether he wages $10 or $10,000, whether he loses all his winnings or needs to take out a loan what concern is it to anyone? Are you imbeciles his keeper? Are any of you morons responsible to pay off any debts he incurs? I think you guys should focus on your own bankrolls and let him worry about his. This is incredible!! You can't make this stuff up.
