need some help with the coin flip in the championship game

Certainly a shiny quarter would be better as a tarnished one might affect the trajectory of the coin, thereby compromising our results.  Perhaps we should flip a coin to decide which coin to flip in order to decide which coin to flip.  Best 3501 out of 7000?

Just had to take a break for beer and self-satisfaction....

What do you think?

I THINK THAT'S PUTTIN A LOTTA PRESSURE ON ME TO MAKE THAT DECISION...AND I'M WONDERIN IF WE DO 3501/7000 THAT TIMEWISE WILL WE HAVE ENOUGH TIME FOR BEER AND CONGRESS BREAKS?  I THINK WE'RE SET ON THE QUARTER THING.  JUST A MATTER OF YOU THINKING WHETHER TIMEWISE THE 7000 IS DO-ABLE?  YOU THINK WE SHOULD MAYBE HAVE A TIME-TRIAL FLIP.. PROBABLY DON'T NEED TO TRACK HEADS/TAILS IN THE TRIAL..BUT JUST TO SEE IF THE SMOKE AND SEX BREAKS ARE FEASIBLE BEFORE WE INITIATE THE REAL THING.  YA THINK?

YA KNOW WHAT ELSE WE'RE FORGETTING...THIS COIN IS GONNA BE FLIPPED ON A GRASS FIELD.  PLAYOFFS WERE ON ARTICIAL.  CERTAINLY THE COIN ISN'T GONNA BOUNCE OFF GRASS AS IT DID TURF?  SO THE SMART THING I THINK MIGHT JUST BE TO DEFER TO THE 2ND HALF?  CONSIDER THIS...THE CALL IS MADE BY THE VISITING TEAM, RIGHT?  DOES THE VISITING TEAM HAVE THE OPTION OF NOT CALLING THE FLIP?  I THINK WE NEED TO KNOW THAT BEFORE WE GO ANY FURTHER....YA THINK?

It you can't have a sense of humor about betting the freaking coin toss, then I feel for you.  I sincerely do.

And I do bet the coin toss.  Every year.  It would be bad luck to pass up on such a golden opportunity to win big money.

I re-read this...LMAO...and what's funnier, I really think most of these guys don't even know we were just havin' fun and bustin 'em!  So anyway, when you bet the toss...do you flip 1st to see what you're gonna call?  2 outta 3?  Quarter, nickel?  It's been fun, GL

i remember this distinctly, for the saints game the coin landed on its side edge and just stayed there. it was unreal, they waited about 4 minutes for it to fall either way but it wouldnt budge. at that point the refs decided to begin the game like the XFL used to, two guys charging at each other at midfield..

Definitely playing heads this year.  All my lunch money.  And maybe more if I can find some fat kid to extort during recess.

If Jerry Rice had flipped it instead of Emmett....would the probability of it being "heads" have been the same?  Remember...Rice is considerably taller than Smith, and based on the RPM's of a tumbling coin...would have to think the probility may've swung toward "tails".
