Oh yeah, they also plugged Matt Cassell into that system offense who hadn't started a game since high school and he went 11-5. Where Is Matt Cassell now?

Yes. I have great respect for SF's defense, but I believe that in today's NFL, the better offense wins more often than not. Teams built like SF don't win Super Bowls anymore. You'd have to go back over 10 years to find the last team which won a Super Bowl with a below average offense. Since then, the Patriots,Packers,Steelers,Giants,Saints, and Colts have all laid the blueprint for success. If you don't pass for scores, you don't win.

i like the Patriots and Brady, but man they play in a garbage division, their schedule is basically a cake walk.

Not with that defense. Giants own the Pats and the 49ers. Brady will continue to put up big regular season numbers, but he has lost his "mystique" for me as far as the playoffs are concerned.

Please tell me who plays in a really great division full of teams who all have winning records and will send the top 3 teams (the maximum possible) into the playoffs ? I really want to know, because I can't seem to find the answer.

This isn't college buddy,you don't get cupcakes in the NFL and they beat who is on their schedule. They outplayed all their opponents that they lost to except for Zona,that was a horrible performance that they deserved to lose. I am not saying they are the best team in football,I don't think they are but as long as they have the best qb and best coach in the game,they have a chance to win it all.

alot of teams play in a garbage division. the only divisions with 2 great teams in it is the afc north nfc north and usually the nfc east is tough but its garbage this year

opinions vary. new england is a soft team and it will be proven once again. soft teams don't win. never have, never will. ask green bay and new england last year and keep going back.

I agree that the Niners are probably the toughest team in the league and maybe the best but come on dude,give NE some props. GB won 2 years ago,were they soft then or did they get soft in 1 year?  Rams were a "soft" team when the won the Superbowl. I like defensive teams also but I don't consider NE soft,I just think their D is young and the offense can be physical with their ground game. P.S Nothing soft about Gronk!

and neither will the 27th ranked passing offense. Maybe it improves with Kaepernick, maybe it doesn't. Signing the graybeard Randy Moss was an early indictment on how desperate this team is. Harbaugh knows better. He just doesn't have the pieces in place yet.
