My Top 10 Qb's

not a bad list but lets go with this:

brees

rodgers

rivers

thats the 1-5 no problems not really any discussion its the 6-10 where people should differ as each bloke here has different strenghts and weaknesses

big ben

manning

ryan

romo

another step down in quality

shaub/flacco/vick

i agree with most of what you say but your dead wrong on matt ryan by the end of next year he will be very very close to the top 5

even at the moment he is the 8th best QB

you would have Eli and Romo ahead of Ryan?   No way...

its hard to measure vick because if its just this year then he has to be pretty high, he was in the mvp race for a lot of the season..

Romo does not belong on the list he is average at best

With all due respect, Ryan and Vick are not better than Big Ben.  Flacco is also better than both.  I think Schaub may be as well, but I wouldn't argue that too adamantly.  Manning is pretty good, unless you need him to win a postseason game.

I like Freeman a lot.  I would put him on the verge of the top 10.  He may be in that company in a year or two.  Hell, I wouldn't have a problem with putting him at 10 and taking Ryan off my list.

Honestly, even if I wasn't a Packer fan I would put Rodgers at the top of this list.    Guy is 27 years old,  hitting his prime,  has already won a Super Bowl and is surrounded by very good receiving talent and an improving offensive line.    He's got a good arm,  he's careful with the ball,  has mobility,  he's smart.    Guy has it all and I'm not just saying that because I'm a Packer fan.    Rodgers is better than Favre.   

Brady and Manning are getting old and on the downside.   

now that i think about it maybe not flacco all that consistent....probably big ben's the most consistent of all the qb's
